Hartzler and Aldine Yordy were married March 13, 1941, at the home of the bride's parents, rural Minonk.

They are parents of Roger of South Bend, Phil of rural Minonk; and Mary Slutz of East Moline. There are eight granddaughters. The Hartzlers are retired from farming. 50th anniversary for Wilbur Wilmerts LINCOLN Wilbur and Mildred Wilmert of Lincoln will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with an open house from 1:30 to 4 p.m. May 5 at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Dr.

and Mrs. W. James Wilmert of 251 10th St, Lincoln. Wilmert and Mildred Pech were married May 1, 1941, at St John's Evangelical and Reformed Church parsonage, Lincoln. They are also parents of Kaye E.

of Lincoln. There are four grandchildren. Wilmert is retired from the Lincoln Post Office. The Russel Mays and the Robert Scheuriches Couples slate joint reception Staton-Oswald Debra Lynn Staton of Chicago and John Charles Oswald of Palatine were united in marriage in a ceremony at 4 p.m. April 20, 1991, at Evelyn Chapel, Bloomington.

John and Nancy Staton of 2007 Hedgewood Place, Bloomington, and Charles and Ann Oswald of Palatine are their parents. There was a reception at Crest-wicke Country Club before the newlyweds left for a honeymoon in Hawaii. Attendants were Cynthia Eri-ckson, matron of honor; Stacey Hennenfent, Lynn Fewkes and Marian Oswald, bridesmaids; David Tillmann, best man; and Scott Abramson, Bruce Malcolmson and John Staton, groomsmen. The bride has a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Illinois and is employed by Hewitt Associates, Lincolnshire. Her husband has a bachelor's degree in business and geology from Cornell University and is employed by American National Bank, Arlington Heights.

The newlyweds reside at i Axil i too I Shepherd, rural Gibson City; and Sharon May, Lakeland, Fla. There are four grandchildren and a great-grandson. The Mays are engaged in farming. Scheurich and Joann were married April 11, 1966, at Sacred Heart Church, Ludlow. They are parents of Josie Manning, rural Paxton, and Sean, serving with the Navy in Millington, Tenn.

There is one grandson. Scheurich is engaged in farming, and Mrs. Scheurich is employed by Ludlow Co-op Grain Elevator Co. X. 'H ELLIOTT Mr.

Viola Hinthorne 40th anniversary for Tom O'Briens An open reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington, will honor Tom and Helen O'Brien of 102 Carmae St, Normal, for their 40th wedding anniversary. 4, Bloomington, and Joseph and Rita Pugnetti of Hatboro, are their parents. There was a reception at Covell Town Hall before the newlyweds left for a cruise to the Mexican Riviera. Attending the bride were Joanne Ohler, maid of honor; and Karen McBrayer, Maria Pugnetti and Elaine Thompson, bridesmaids. Chris Pugnetti was best man; Larry Se-nour, Joe Pugnetti and Ted Krad-zinski, groomsmen; Erik Buck-litzsch and George Pugnetti, ushers; and Christopher Pugnetti, ring bearer. The bride is a graduate of Normal Community High School.

She attended Lincoln College and is employed as a word processing specialist by State Farm Insurance Cos. at its Westlake Regional Office, Westlake Village, Calif. Her husband, a gradute of Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, is employed as a senior accountant by Seneca Resources Santa Paula, Calif. The newlyweds reside at 1241 Bryce Way, Ventura, Calif. Johnson-Henson KENNEY Dede Johnson, daughter of Jacob and Ruth Johnson of rural Kenney, and Laine Henson, son of Lloyd and Nellie Jo Henson of Fontana, were married in a private ceremony at 7 NEW NAMES Lindsay Nicole Schroeder weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces when born April 12, 1991, to Tom and Joan Schroeder of 201 Greenleaf St, Bloomington.

The new arrival is a sister of Aaron, 2V4. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Thoennes of 904 Dolphin St, and Mr. and Mrs.

Ronald Schroeder of 1311 N. Western both of Bloomington. Helen Schroeder of 211 Robert Drive, Normal, is great-grandmother. Rob and Teresa Vollmer of Hudson are parents of their first child, Jordan Robert Vollmer, born April 10, 1991. The 8-pound, 7-ounce baby is a grandson of Harold and Nora Jane Cramer of Hudson and Fred and Dottie Vollmer of rural Hudson.

Great-grandparents are Lena Garrett Hudson; Harold and Etna Cramer, El Paso; and Anita Frese of 1606 S. Center St, Bloomington. Eight-pound, 12-ounce Paige Suzanne O'Shea was born April 11, 1991, to Michael and Penny O'Shea of 16 Palm Court, Bloomington. The new arrival has a brother, Evan Michael, 3. She is a granddaughter of Robert and Sharon Trumbo and Jerry and Wanda O'Shea, all of Ottawa.

Great-grandparents are Eleanor Thomas, DeKalb, and Roy and Sadie Herron, Marseilles. Spencer Colin Seggebruch is the name chosen for the first child of Brent and Kelly Seggebruch of rural Clinton. The 6-pound, 14-ounce baby was born April 11, 1991. Grandparents are Ron Ziegler and Dianne Ziegler, both of Clinton, and Mr. and Mrs.

Dale Seggebruch of Onarga. Great-grandparents are Geneva Hoffman, Clinton; Hazel Ziegler, Farmer City; and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bauer, Cissna Park. Christopher Dean McKinley, 2, joins his parents, Randall and Rene' McKinley of R.R.

Lisa Jane Brown, middle-named for her paternal grandmother, was born April 14, 1991, to Larry and Marcia Brown of Lexington.

The 8-pound, 5-ounce baby is a sister of Dan, 10; Jenny, and Matthew, 2. She is a granddaughter of Stanley and lone Crandall of Farina and Ray and Jane Brown of Lexington. Melissa Anne Lauher weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces when born April 16, 1991, the first child of Michael and Kathy Lauher of R.R: 16, Bloomington. Grandparents are Lee and Joyce Apple, Lake Elsinore, Jack Schmitz, San Bernardino, and Jim and Marianne Lauher, Kansas, 111. and Mary Swanstrom, Pequot Lakes, Minn. April 4, 1991, is the birth date of Ketra Diane Hoffman, daughter of Bryan and Kim Hoffman of Con-gerville. The 8-pound, baby is a sister of Erika, 4Vi, and Kayla, 3. She is a granddaughter of Bill and Sue Frevert of Hanna City and Jerry and Carol Hoffman of Danvers. Kelley was employed by The Eureka Co.

before retiring in 1978. Mrs. Kelley was employed by General Electric Co. before retiring in 1984. and Bud Hinthorne were their attendants.

They are parents of Tom Carr of Secor; April Gladson, Tim Carr and Joe Carr, all of El Paso; Reg White of Moline; Lance White of Rock-ford, and Nathan White of Chicksands Air Force Base, Bedfordshire, England. There are 16 grandchildren. Dr. White was employed as a veterinary medical officer by the U.S. Department of Agriculture until his retirement in January.

O'Brien is retired as project manager for G.A. Rich Sons. 50th anniversary for Ernest Janssens BLACKSTONE Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Janssen of Blackstone will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner Sunday at Mpna's in Toluca and with an open reception from 2 to 4 p.m.

The Janssens have farmed near Blackstone for 40 years. Mrs. Janssen retired from Hornsby's in 1985 after 12 years of employment 50th anniversary for Edmund Sweeneys Edmund and Mary Sweeney of 919 S. Vale St, Bloomington, will observe their golden wedding anniversary April 30. Sweeney and Mary Sullivan were married April 30, 1941, at St Joseph's Church, Chenoa.
