She is owner of Cherokee General Store, Cherokee, Iowa. Her husband is a graduate of Iowa State University and Washburn University School of Law. He is a partner in the law firm, Herrick, Ary, Cook, Cook and Cook, Cherokee, Iowa. The newlyweds reside at 336 E. Spruce Cherokee, Iowa, following a wedding trip to San Francisco.

John's Lutheran Church, Hartsburg, was the setting for the 7 p.m. Aug. 1 wedding of Diane J. Bergman of Hartsburg and Richard E. Bates of Lincoln.

Aug. 7 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Emden, were Kimberly Jo Rademaker of rural Delavan and Mark Thomas Howard of Marion. Mr. and Mrs.

Dan Rademaker and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Howard, all of rural Delavan, are their parents. There was a reception with buffet and dance at Darnall's Friendship Hall, Minier, before the newlyweds left for a honeymoon in Chicago. Attending the bride were Cindy Van Dyke, matron of honor; Diane Rademaker, Lezley Pace, Michelle Leiser and Tonya Hobson, bridesmaids; and Marcy Eigenbrod, flower girl.

Dave Howard was best man; Jeff McGinnis, Brent Seggebruch, Brian Baylor and Lane Sinele, groomsmen; and Brian Fisher, ring bearer. The newlyweds are graduates of Delavan High School. The bride is also a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University. Her husband, a graduate of Western Illinois University, is employed by Wal-Mart in the management trainee program, Marion. They reside in Marion.

Creek-Mackinaw High School, attended Illinois State University and is employed by Procter and Gamble, Oak Brook. They reside at 1630 Country Lakes Drive, Naperville. Carls-Schopp FLANAGAN Married at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 22 at St.

Petri Lutheran Church, Flanagan, were Kathleen Kay Carls of rural Flanagan and Daniel Lee Schopp of rural Streator. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold E. Carls of rural Flanagan and Raymond F.

Schopp of Pontiac are their parents. There was a reception dinner and dance at the Pontiac Knights of Columbus Hall. Kristyn Carls was maid of honor; Lorri Gaither, matron of honor; Kay White, Lynn Schneider, Kendra Carls, bridesmaids; Tracy Schopp, junior bridesmaid; and Erin Kneip, flower girl. Her husband, a graduate of Cornell High School, is employed by Jacobson Seaway Grain Dwight. The newlyweds reside at R.R.: 2, Streator, following a wedding trip to Missouri. Riley-Schulz ROANOKE Carolyn E. Riley of Aurora, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Roy E. Riley of Roanoke, became the bride of Thomas J. Schulz of Lakewood, in a ceremony at 4 p.m. July 25 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lakewood. He is a son of Mr.

and Mrs. Eugene G. Schulz of Milwaukee, Wis. There was a reception at the Ramada Inn at Wheat Ridge. Helen Ryan and Mark Driscoll were their attendants.

The bride is a graduate of Roanoke High School, has an associate degree in accounting from Illinois Central College, and a bachelor's degree in speech communication from Illinois State University. She is employed by the Colorado Department of Health. Her husband is a graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Milwaukee, has a bachelor's degree in geography and conservation from Carthage College, Kenosha, and a master's degree 1 in cartography from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He is employed by the U.S. Geological Survey.
