Interment will be in McLean Cemetery, McLean. Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, is handling arrangements. Imogean was born Sept. 25, 1924, in Lipan, Texas, to David Crockett and Mamie Winslett Tiner. She married Calvin N.

Phelps on De c. 24, 1946, in Bloomington. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1995, in Bloomington. She is survived by two sons, David M. Phelps, Stanford, and Zaniel (Kim) Phelps, Quincy; and one sister, Frances Bacia, Hollywood, Fla.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Dewitt, and one sister, Christine. In her early years she worked at Consolidated Aircraft in Fort Worth, Texas, as a riveter and also did wiring. After she married she stayed home to raise her children. She was a member of Northwest Baptist Church in Peoria and attended Liberty Baptist Church in inier. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star in Texas.

She loved being outdoors gardening and working in her flower beds and enjoyed being a homemaker. Dorothy Schaefer GIBSON CITY Dorothy Schaefer, 87, of Gibson City, passed away at 2:10 a.m. Ma 26, 2015, at Paris Terrace Nursing Home, Mattoon.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Gibson City Pentecostal Church with the Rev. John Koonce officiating. Burial will be at Drummer Township Cemetery, Gibson City. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Dorothy was born March 27, 1928, in Champaign, a daughter of William and Elsie Heimburger Unzicker. She married Philip Schaefer on Jan. 4, 1948, in Rantoul. He passed away on Nov. 3, 2001.

Surviving are a nephew, Glenn Unzicker, Madison, and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Ernest Unzicker; and three sisters, Wilma Crowe, Eleane May and June Cutright. Dorothy lived in Paxton most of her life before moving to Gibson City. She was a lifelong farmer. She loved yard work, and taking care of her cemetery plot.

She went to the Gibson City Pentecostal Church. Memorials may be made to the Gibson City Pentecostal Church. Lamb Funer al Home in Gibson City is in charge of the arrangements. Leslie Cunningham BLOOMINGTON Leslie M. Cunningham, 78, of Bloomington, passed away at 11:15 p.m.

on Tuesday (June 2, 2015) surrounded by his loved ones at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington. His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Kibler- Brady- Ruestman Memorial Home, Bloomington, with the ev. Stephanie Soon of ficiat ing.

His visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the memorial home. Full military rites will be accorded by the Bloomington-Normal American Legion Honor Guard. Interment will be at Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Les was born Jan.

9, 1937, in Charleston, a son of Samuel and Bessie Rice Cunningham, and was the second to the youngest of eight boys and five girls. He married Barbara Bagosy on Sept. 12, 1964. She survives as lifelong friend. Also surviving are three daughters, Jeanne (Ron) Hinterscher, Oblong; Linda (Steve Carroll) Feasley, Bloomington; and Terri (Rick) Hoepner, Bloomington; grandchildren, Stacey (Aubrey) Forr ester, Eric Varner, Mandy Feasley, Cori Feasley, Justin (Christina) Sm ith, Kristin (Brian) Nafziger, Brie Weaver, Erick Hoepner, Chris Hinterscher and Nicolas Hinterscher; great- gran dchildren, Aleksey, Keaton, Raegan, Kaelyn, Morgan, Gavin, Garrett, Braden, Lilah, Madison and Blake; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and five sisters. Les proudly served his county in the U.S. Army from 1960-1963. He received an honorable discharge with a good conduct medal and was an expert rifle sharpshooter. He was employed in retail grocery management from 1964 until he retired.

After retirement, Les worked part time servicing magazine racks for various merchants until 2014. He was a devoted Chicago Cubs and Chicago Be ars fan. He was a member of the American Hungarian Family Society. Les will be remembered for being selfless, kindhearted and always there to help out in any way possible. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who know him.

He was born Feb. 15, 1958, in Taylorville, the son of Lyle C. and Joyce D. Huffines Klay. He was an administrative employee, primarily in Parent Services at Illinois State University in Normal for 17 years.

He will be remembered for his love of singing and his deep love of his children. He sang the national anthem at basketball games at Redbird Arena in Normal as well as other collegiate events and also sang at the L.A. Clippers games. Surviving are his daughter, Emily Klay, Normal; son, Anderson Klay, Normal; parents, Lyle and Jo yce Klay, Taylorville; brother, Richard (Nancy) Klay, Springfield; and former wife, Shelly Reapsum mer Klay, St. Louis.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. aturday at McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville. The visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home. wishes were to be cremated following services.

Keith May NORMAL Keith Lyle May, 52, of Normal, passed away Wednesday (June 3, 2015) at his home surrounded with love after a ong battle with multiple myeloma. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. aturday at First United Methodist Church in Normal with the Rev. Don Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Pike Township Cemetery, rural Graymont.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Carmody Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to college fund, the Community Cancer Center and First United Methodist Church. Keith was born Sept. 7, 1962, in Barstow, son of Lyle and Lois Bianchi May.

He married Julie Bertsche on Aug. 8, 1987. He is survived by his sons, Matthew (Jennifer), Chicago; Nathan, Wa shington, D.C.; and Tyler, Normal; his parents; his wife; brothers, Randy (J ulie) and Michael (Diane); and a wealth of extended family. Keith graduated from Minonk-Dana-Rutland High School in 1980. He then graduated from Illinois Central College.

He wor ked at Mitsubishi Motors in Normal for 27 years, managing logistics. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. His hobbies included passionately following sports, from the Chicago Cubs to the local high schools. In the summer, you could often find him on the diamond with his sons. He was a proud University High School parent who sacrificed to put his three sons through college.

Since being diagnosed in 2008 with multiple myeloma, he was an advocate for both research and awareness. Keith loved spending time with family and friends and faced life with a positive attitude every day. He beat cancer with how he lived life daily. The family would like to thank Dr. William Ray, Dr.

Timothy Garmon MAPLE GROVE, MINN. Timothy Garmon, 56, of Maple Grove, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Sunday (May 31, 2015) after a valiant three-year battle with brain cancer. Tim was born in Memphis, to Robert and Bar bara Garmon.

As the fourth of five children in a naval family, Tim lived in many states during his childhood. He considered Cropsey to be his home town as he spent most childhood summers there visiting his grandparents and extended family. Tim loved sharing stories of his many adventures on the family farm. Tim excelled in the computer industry after graduating from Mount Carmel High chool in San Diego, Calif. He worked for Wells Fargo for more than 20 years as a mainframe systems engineer and De Facto Architect, where he was highly esteemed for his extraordinary analytical skills and universally embraced for his down-to-earth, fun-loving and very human touch.

Wells Fargo benefited greatly from his contributions over the years, and he will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to work with him. A devoted father, Tim worked primarily from home for years so he could spend time with his son. Tim was a die-hard supporter of the MapleBrook Soc cer Association and Maple Grove Senior soccer program in which his son participated. He was a constant presence in the Crimson stadium, even during the foulest weather. Tim touched the lives of dozens of players as coach, team manager and avid fan.

He enjoyed biking and cruising to tropical destinations with his family and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his father, Robert; and is survived by his wife of 25 ears, Piper; his son, Hayden; his mother, Barbara; brothers, Michael (Gwenn), Stephan (Rhonda) and Richard; and sister, Aletha (Bill) Capobianco; along with nieces and nephews. The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo, MN, followed by a memorial service in Cropsey at a later date.

Trimble, 67, of Raleigh, N.C., formerly of Bloomington, passed away suddenly on Sunday (May 31, 2015) of natural causes while sleeping, in Raleigh, N.C.

He was a great husband and father and he loved his family enormously. He loved spending time in Disney World and enjoyed antiquing and golfing. He retired from Abbott Laboratories in 199 6 and State Farm Insurance Cos. in 2010. He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Trimble; his son, Joseph Trimble; daughter, Nina Trimble; his brother, Kent Trimble, and sister, Suzanne Trimble Kiel.

He was predeceased by his father, Melvin Gerald Trimble; his mother, Myrl Munson Trimble; and his sister, Margaret Trimble Griffith.
