(PNS) "Three faiths are needed to make us victorious in our efforts to build a better world," said Truman Robinson, head of the social science department of Clinton Community high school, speaking before the 11th annual DeWitt homecoming Thursday night. We must have faith in gur country, in youth and in God, he said. In each we must remember that "faith without works is dead." Youth Not Cynical. After recounting the blessings of America, Mr. Robinson pointed out that these were the result of great sacrifice and that great sacrifices would be needed in the future.

The future of America lies in the heart of the people. was soft and cynical by pointing to their attitude as revealed by letters he had received from soldiers. Students now below the fighting age must be prepared both intellectually and spiritually to bear high the torch thrown to them by those who fight, he said. Need God's Help. Mr.

Robinson said that rather than causing us to lose faith in God, this war should send us to seek Him with renewed vigor. Unaided, man cannot build a better world no matter how hard he tries. Instead of trying to get God's blessing on our plans, we must seek to learn His will and work for His plans. A return to the church, the Bible and to prayer are necessary if we are to gain the strength to build a good world, he concluded.
