Frazier Wed in Pontiac The marriage of Miss Josephine forrison of Pontiac and Charles R. razier of Chicago took place in the presence of 250 guests at 8 p.

m. Saturday at the First Presbyterian church of Pontiac, with the Rev. A. Brabson Morrow officiating. Preceding the ceremony, the bride's brother, John Morrison, gave half hour organ program, playing "Prelude," Bonnet; "Allegro-Vivace," Handel; "Liebestraume," Liszt; "Caprice Viennois," Kreisler; "Only a Rose," Frimi; "Sweet Mystery of Life," Herbert; "Largo," Handel, and "Meditation," Massenet.

Miss Ruby Henderson sang "At "Because" and "Oh Promise Me." The bridal music from "Lohengrin" was played as the wedding party entered the church and approached the altar. Palms and baskets of pink and rose gladiolus blooms flanked the altar, and candelabra bearing white tapers gave light, In the wedding party were Miss Alice Hayden of Sun Prairie, maid of honor; Earle English of Chicago as best man; Miss Kathleen Callahan of Morgantown, W. Mrs. Henry Champlain III of sanston, Mrs. Carl F.

Ward of Intiac and Mrs. Ralph Marquis of Rochester, N. Y. bridesmaids. Joan Reinagle of Pontiac served as flower girl.

The ushers were Dwight Cochran of Cincinnati; Henry C. Champlain III of Evanston; John Garcia of Chicago and Elmer Grage of Chicago. The bride wore a gown of white satin made on princess lines, with a long train. Her tulle veil was caught with orange blossoms, and her shower bouquet was of white roses and lilies of the valley. The maid of honor wore a dress of pastel blue crepe and carried a an arm bouquet of pink roses and gypsophila.

Mrs. Ward and Miss han wore pink crepe gowns and Mrs. Champlain and Mrs. Marquis, gowns of rose crepe, and all had arm bouquets of blue asters. The flower girl wore pale blue organdy.

Following the ceremony, a formal reception was held at the home of 'the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Morrison. In the receiving line, in addition to Mr. Mrs.

Morrison and the bride and bridegroom were Mrs. 4 Alice MeClaughry, Miss Hayden, Mr. English and Dr, and Mrs. Charles Frazier of Chicago, parents of the bridegroom. Misses Betty Harris, Betty Long, Elizabeth Middleton and Gretchen schler served the guests during reception.

Mrs. Frazier was graduated from Pontiac Township high school in 1923, attended Ward Belmont school at Nashville, and was graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1928. She is a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She taught for a year in the University high school at Madison and since that time she has been instructor in physical education at the Florida State College for Women at Tallahassee. Mr.

Frazier was graduated from University high school in Chicago in 1921 and from the University of Illinois in 1925, a member of Delta Upsilon fraternity. He is supervisor of employment in the counting department of Illinois Bell Telephone company in Chicago. Mr. and Mra. Frazier left after the reception for wedding journey to Quebec, Canada.

They will be at home after Sept. 20 at 836 Judson street, Evanston. Eileen Moore, Earl S. Ward Are Married Miss Eileen Moore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Michael F. Moore of Kewanee, became the bride Earl 8. Ward, son of A. G. Ward of Normal, in a ceremony at 4 p.

m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at the home of the bride's parents. Miss Jane Moore sang "Liebestraum" preceding the ceremony, Mendelssohn's Wedding march was The Rev. Fr.

The bride attended Chicago schools and studied voice in New York for two years, Mr. Ward is a graduate of Bloomington high school and Illinois Wesleyan university, where he wan a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, He was formerly assistant secretary of the Danville Association of Commerce and secretary of the Association of Commerce at Kewanee.

He is now convention manager of the elation of Commerce in Peoria, where the new home will be made. Among the guests at the wedding were A. G. Ward and Mr. and Mrs.

m. Tuesday at Trades Assembly hall. Dances, Bridge Athletic Events Mark Holiday The social observance of Labor day will extend throughout the weekend, with many guests arriving. Bloomington Country club began its Labor day celebration Saturday night at the club house with a dinner dance. The harvest moon of September did its part, and tables for the 130 were placed in its light, mingled with the radiance from scores of electric bulbs.

Dinner by reservation will be served at the club Sunday noon, and both at noon and night Monday. Varied kinds of athletics will the day at Bloomington Country club. The men will hold flag tournament, with 18 holes handicap, medal play. Softball Game. Much interest and excitement is expected from a soft ball game at (3 p.

and D. H. Hammitt, 907 South Fell avenue, Normal. It took place Feb, 18, 1933, at Dixon, and was revealed only to members of the Immediate families. Mra.

Hammitt is a graduate of Oshkosh State Teachers college, and has taught in the city schools of South Beloit, Ill. Mr. Hammitt is graduate of McLean high school, and attended Cornell university, Ithaca, N. Y. He la now employed in Sheboygan, Win, by the Household Finance corporation, but will be transferred next month to Oshkosh, where the new home will be made after Oct.
