H. E. Hadden of 2007 E. Oakland Ave. was brightened by visits from their daughter, Mrs.

Ralph Nilson of New York City, right, and their newly married son and daughter-in-law, the Ross Haddens, home from Ari York so he couldn't get away for the holidays. Mrs. Nilson, the former Nancy Hadden, will return Monday. The Ross Haddens, married two months ago in Arizona, are at home there while Mr. Hadden is attending the University of Arizona.

Saturday afternoon in Second Presbyterian I hA I I 4 Church. Tyler Whitmer, son of the Sherman Whitmers of 14 Walker took Miss Barbara Dell Bican of Chardon, Ohio, as his bride in Saturday afternoon ceremonies in the Pilgrim Christian Church in Chardon. Miss Bican, daughter of Mrs. Burdell Bican of Chardon, Is a 1958 graduate of Miami University in Ohio. Her sorority is Sigma Kappa.

Mr. Whitmer, who is currently stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, in the Army, also graduated from Miami this year. He is a 1953 Bloomington High graduate and IS The new Mrs. Meyer, daughter of the Ralph Osborns of 3007 E. Oakland Avenue is a senior in dietetics at the University of Vermont.

The bridegroom, an engineering senior at Vermont, and a member of Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, is the son of the Senior C. Paul Meyers of Katonah, N. Y. Both principals are former students at Iowa State College. Miss Osborn's bridal gown of ivory colored taffeta featured a Wimbleton bow whose streamers formed the back of the skirt.

The gown's petal sleeves were three quarter length and the neckline was rounded. An ivory colored Juliet cap held the shoulder length veil. The white Bible she carried -t a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. was topped by white carnations and roses. Dr.
