His funeral will be at 2 Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church, Wabash, Ind. The Rev. Leslie Tyvela will officiate. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery, Peru, Ind. Visitation will start at 2 p.m.

Wednesday at the Grandstaff Funeral Home, Roann, Ind. He was born March 30. 1890, in Logansport, a son of Ernest and Kathryn Alheit Ahlfeld. He married Helen Liebo on June 8, 1914. She died March 17, 1941.

He married Anna Asbell of Gridley on Sept. 27, 1953. The couple moved from Gridley to Wabash, six years ago. Survivors are his wife, four sisters, brothers, three sons, three daughters, 14 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Mr.

Ahlfeld was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church at Wabash, Ind. Hal Fawver LE ROY (PNS) The funeral of Hal "Jake" Fawver, 76, who died Monday will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bruce Memorial Home, with the Rev. David Girbert officiating. will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3-5; 7-9 this afternoon and evening at the memorial home. Mr. Fawver was born Dec. 30, 1893, at Arrowsmith, a son of John Henry and Clara Mills Fawver. He married Mae Hostler Jan.

Fernando Lawrence, McLean. Three brothers and a preceded him in death. Fawver was a retired (farmer and carpenter and spent his entire life in the Le Roy area. He was an Army veteran of World War I and attended the Presbyterian Church. Mrs.

Imo Ijams LE ROY Funeral services were to be conducted today for Mrs. Imo Ijams, 66, who died Monday at Stevens Park Hospital in Dallas, Tex. She was to be cremated and burial was to be in Restland Cemetery in Dallas. Mrs. Ijams was born in Le Roy, Jan.

25, 1904 a daughter of Bert and Lora Turner Hadfield. She was married to Guy Ijams of Farmer City, July 2, 1923. Surviving are her husband, Sky Line Nursing Home at DeSoto, a son, Lyndon, Canoga Park, a daughter, Mrs. Mona Santiago, Dallas; two brothers, Clifford, Le Roy; Charles, 1506 Franklin, Bloomington. A daughter and a son preceded her in death.

Boyd Davis MACKINAW (PNS) Boyd Davis, 67, of 504 E. Fifth died at their Lake Worth, winter (home at 12:28 p.m. Monday. He will be brought to the Hansel Funeral Home. Theodore Krutz BUCKLEY Theodore A.

Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital in Streator. She was brouht to the Raleigh J. Harris Funeral Home. Mrs.

Barbara Ross Barbara E. Ross, 73, died at her home at 6 a.m. Tuesday. She had been ill for sometime and had been released from the hospital Sunday. Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m.

Thursday at the Remmert Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ward W. Shelly and the Rev. John Hostetler officiating. Another funeral will be at 10:30 a.m.

Friday at the Kessler and Howe Funeral Home at Shelbyville. The Rev. Chris Christner will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Herman Cemetery at Shelbyville. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m.

She was a member of Calvary Mennonite Church at Washington. Theadore Mott CLINTON (PNS) Theadore Armstrong Mott, 90, a retired Illinois Central Railroad car repairman, died at 1:40 p.m. Tuesday at the Extended Care Unit of Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital at Lincoln.

His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the HeringtonCalvert Funeral Home, with the Rev. Winston Zastrow officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:30 to 5 and 7-9 p.m.

Thursday at the funeral home. He was born March 21, 1880, at Paris, a son of Samuel G. (and Martha Cantrell Mott. He married Henrietta Johnson Jan. 2A, 1906, at Clinton.

She died Dec. 1, 1956. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Esthel Jones, Lane; Mrs. Cora Works, Bloomington; Mrs.

Lena Sprague, Mansfield; Mrs. Martha Reed, Clinton; two sons, Theadore Joliet; Oscar Lincoln; 34 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; 7 greatgreat-grandchildren and five great great-great-grandchildren. A son, three sisters and six brothers preceded him in death. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was a 50- year employe of the Illinois Central Railroad.

He made his home in Lincoln with his son for three and a half years. Byron L. Colburn EUREKA (PNS) Byron L. Colburn, 85, of 101 E. Conover, a retired Eureka banker, died at 1:30 p.m.

Tuesday at Eureka Hospital. He! had been a patient since Feb. 27. His funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home, with the Rev.

Marvin Cheney officiating. Burial will be in Olio Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until funeral time Thursday at the funeral home. He was born Nov. 26, 1884, near Secor, a son of Richard O.

and Julia Manor Colburn. He married Lela Smith, Oct. 18, 1911, at Eureka. Surviving are his wife; a son, John Eureka; three grandchildren; a greatgrandson. Four brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Eureka Christian Church and served on the church board, board of Eureka College, the Eureka High School Board and the Eureka Building and Loan Association. He was in the banking business in Eureka from January, 1912 until 1950. He was actively interested in farming all his life and at the time of his death was participating in the cattle feeding business with his tenant. The family has suggested that any expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the Eureka Christian Church. Mrs.

Eda L. Ward ODELL (PNS) Mrs. Eda L. Ward, 86, of Wilmington, merly of Odell. died at 6 a.m.

Tuesday at the Cass Street Nursing Home in Joliet. She had been a resident there 11 years. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Des Rochers Funeral Home in Wilmington. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery at Fairbury.

Visitation will be from 7-10 p.m. Wednesday and from 2-4 and 7-10 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She was born July 19, 1883, at Braceville, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

William J. Davy. She was married to Charles E. Ward. He died in 1941.

From 1919 to 1941, they published the weekly newspaper at Odell, the Odell News. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Singleton, Wilmington; two brothers and a sister, Wilmington; three grandchildren and a great grandchild. A brother and a sister preceded her in death. Donald Shaughnessy PONTIAC (PNS) Donald J.

"Bud" Shaughnessy, 60, of 103 W. Reynolds died at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday at Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Chicago. He had been ill six months.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Grace Episcopal Church. Another memorial service will be at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in El Paso at a date to be nounced. He was born Jan.

24, 1910, in Pontiac, a son of John and Elizabeth Tyrell Shaughnessy. He married Sue Fischler Sept. 2, 1936. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. J.

Michael Fitzsimmons, Glen Ellyn; Miss Dee Jay Shaughnessy, Peoria; Mrs. Ronald W. Adams, West Chicago; a son, Michael a a student at Millikin University at Decatur; four sisters. Mrs. Al(fred Rebholz, Piper City: Mrs.

George Supernaught, Kankakee; Mrs. James Robinson, Pontiac: Mrs. Edward Zaje, Bradley; two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. He operated a drug business in Pontiac 18 years and was a member of St.

Andrew's Episcopal Church at El Paso, serving on the bishop's committee. He was a member of the Illinois National Guard from 1928 to 1947 and was a veteran of World War II. He was also a member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Elks Club. Visitation will be from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Vincent Memorial Home. He was born Oct. 5, 1916, near El Paso, a son of Herman and Josephine Lucas Punke. He married Grace Gordon of McLean.

He later married Florence Joyce Forte at Kenney, June 14, 1953. The Henry Hafer 69. SIBLEY (PNS) Henry Hafer, 83. died at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday at Mennonite Hospital in Bloomington. He was a lifetime resident of Sibley.

His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Sibley. The Rev. William Heinzig will officiate with burial in Sibley Cemetery.

Visitation will be p.m. Thursday at the Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City. Mr. Hafer was born Nov. 1, 1886, in Sibley, a son of William and Mary Fornoff Hafer.
