III. Stpt. 22, Three face police charges Bloomington Food valued at $3 11 and $3 in utensils and a tray were stolen from the Steak Shake Restaurant. 609 S. Hannah, about 11:30 pm.

Saturday. Police said two young men ordered the food, to be eaten in their car, then drove away without paying. Doors on four lockers in the employes' lounge at Zayre Department Store, 1701 E. Empire, were pried open between 11:30 a.m. and 3 45 m.

Sunday. Seventeen dollars was taken from a locker assigned to Lnri Huff, 1110 N. Hinshaw. Missing items and their value had not been determined for the other lockers. Telephone broken A park policeman extinguished a fire that two boys reportedly had started about 7 p.m.

Sunday in a cornfield north of Stevenson School. 2106 Arrowhead Drive. Neither of the boys was caught. The receiver hook on the pay telephone at Morris Avenue and Wood Street was reported broken alxmt 10:20 p.m. Sunday.

A passenger window, valued at $25. Ptntagraph car was parked in the lot in front of the woman's home, Food stamps valued at $50, $120 cash and a $19 coupon book were stolen from a purse belonging to Scheryl Hartley. 602 W. Mill. Police said the purse was on the woman's bed Sunday.

About $15 damage was done to a door in her home, police said, in gaining entry. Potato chips and snack food of unknown value were taken from a vending machine in the Bloomington Housing Authority office. 104 E. Wood, between 5:30 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m.

Monday. -When Mae C. Lynch, 106 W. Locust, yelled at a man who had removed a screen from a window in her home, he ran away. The incident occurred about 8:15 a.m.

Monday, police said. A hammer or similar instrument was used to damage a car owned by William Thomas 610 N. Howard, police said, while the car was parked in the 1400 block of West Market Street between midnight Saturday and 3 a.m. Sunday. A windshield, valued at $75, and a $50 window were broken, as was a $25 short-wave radio antenna.

A $50 tape player and a $7 tape were taken from a car belonging to Richard Snow, McLean, while the car was in the Eastland Shopping Center parking lot about midnight Saturday. of 1100 David Drive. Normal, died at Brokaw Hospital at 4:16 p.m. Sunday following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Creager was a 15-year employe of Cutler-Hammer.

Lincoln. She had worked there until 1973. Her funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Carmody Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St.

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Mrs. Creager was born Oct. 14, 1928, in Hopedale, a daughter of John and Mary Murphy Henderson.

She was married to Roderic Gus" Creager May 17, 1962, in Geneseo. Survivors include her husband; her parents, Minier; a daughter, Julie Ann, and a son, James Lee. both at home; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Reim. Morton; Mrs.

Ruth Hedrick, Atlanta, Mrs. Fern Lovins, Minier, and Mrs. Doris Haas, El Paso; and five brothers, James Henderson, Minier; Robert, Arthur and Ronald Henderson, all of Mackinaw, and Thomas Henderson, 313 S. Vale. A brother preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the Machinists Areospace Workers Union of Lincoln. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Religious Education Fund. John Pell John Pell of 1405 S.

Low died at his home at 7:55 a.m. Monday. McLean County Coroner William Anderson said death was due to natural causes. He was taken to Metzler Memorial Home. Mrs.

Edna Gordon Mrs. Edna Mary Gordon, 65, of 1302 W. Taylor died at her home at 11:26 a.m. Monday. William Anderson, McLean County coroner, who was called by the Bloomington rescue squad to the West Taylor Street address, said death was due to natural causes.

She was taken to Stamper Memorial Home. and a $50 windshield were broken on a car belonging to Vicki Emmert. 207 W. Wood. The car was parked in the city parking garage Lite Saturday.

The left front door glass and the windshield of a car belonging to Theodore E. Moews, 207 W. Jefferson, were broken while his car was parked in the city parking garage between 9 pm. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday.

A license plate was stolen from a car belonging to Bertha Samuels, 1207 W. MacArthur. while the car was parked at her home overnight Saturday. An unknown amount of money was taken from Richard's Arco service station. 1002 N.

Main, between 7 p.m. Saturday and 8 a m. Monday. Police said a rock and a brick were used to break a 4- by 3 foot glass window on the west side of the building to gain entry. A 13-year-old Blixtmington boy was released to a iVpartment of Children and Family Services caseworker after he was charged with stealing a $1.19 battery from the Sears.

Mary E. Brock. 77, of 104 E. Wood died at 9 25 a.m. Monday at St.

Joseph's Hospital Medical Center. Mrs. Brock was retired from Livingston's department store, where she worked in the ready-to-wear department Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Metzler Memorial Home, with the Rev. Vernon Oakley officiating.

Burial will be in Heyworth Cemetery. Visitation will begin an hour before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Brock was born July 6. 1898, in Heyworth.

Barstow was the daughter of Roy E. and Grace Murphy Taylor, who lived for many years at 406 W. Mulberry. Normal. Mr.

Taylor was chairman of the McLean County Selective Service Board during World War II. Mrs. Barstow's funeral was Sept. 17 in Newton. Mass.

Burial was in Vineyard Haven, Newton. Survivors include her husband, Merton C. Barstow two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Penn. Turbridge, and Miss Carol Barstow, Cambridge; two sons, Howard.

Carter, 22, and Gardell A. Myles, 21, both of Milwaukee, were in county jail Monday noon on charges of theft under $150 and possession of marijuana. State Trooper Paul McKinney arrested the pair Sunday night on Interstate 55 near Illinois 9 on the theft charge. The two were charged with failure to pay for $6.50 worth of gasoline at the Dixie Truck Stop, McLean. McKinney filed the two possession charges against the pair.

Indiana man faces pair of charges A Lafayette, man was charged Saturday with illegal transportation of alcohol and possession of marijuana after he was stopped by Bloomington police at the intersection of Eldorado Drive and Oakland Police said Craig David Schwartz, 22, was stopped after he was seen getting into his car with what appeared to be a bottle of beer. Charles Reeder CLINTON Charles Morris Reeder, 58, of Bloomfield Hills, formerly of Clinton, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Oestapthic Hospital in Detroit. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Beautiful Savior Luthern Church at Bloomfield Hills. Burial will be in Detroit.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Vasu-Lynch Funeral Home, Royal Oak, Mich. He was born in Epworth, Aug. 27, 1917, a son of John Henry and Inez Clary Reeder. He married Shirley Baker in Detroit in 1951.

He is survived by his wife; his mother Mrs. Inez Reeder, Clinton; three sons, Milan Buddy, Lehan Keith. Sunday at Cole Hospital, Champaign. Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Stensel's Funeral Home, Farmer City, with the Rev. Dorotha Russell officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Farmer City.

Visitation will be from 2 to and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born Jan. 6, J882, at Farmer City, a daughter of Jacob and Lydia Riggs Overmeyer. She married Virgil Sparrow July 10, 1901, at Champaign.

He died in 1924. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Alta Claypool, Savoy; two sons, Lyle, Fisher, and Russell, Farmer City; three grandsons; a granddaughter, and three Boy, 16, robbery A 16-year-old arrested in connection with the Friday armed robbery of the Harris Grocery, 802 N. Morris, was in Bloomington City Jail awaiting a hearing Monday after spending Sunday in St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center.

Police said the boy cut his left wnst with an earring while he was being held in Bloomington City Jail about 8:55 p.m. Saturday. Bond was set Monday morning for two of the three other persons arrested in connection with the robbery. Being held in McLean County Jail at noon Monday were Daniel Holland, 18, of 916 W. Mulberry, in lieu of $81,000 bond, and Russell E.

He was born Aug. 31. 1889, a son of Charles and Sarah Banks Douglass. He married Elsie Mae Ambers Dec. 15, 1915, at Monticelio.
