Rose Zurkamer, 82, of Lincoln died at 4:45 a.m. Monday at the Lincoln Christian Nursing Home where she had been a resident for three years. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Church in Lincoln with the Rev.

Norman Goodman officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 o'clock today at Kerrigan Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited at p.m.

Mrs. Zurkamer was born in Lincoln Feb. 16, 1886, a daughter of Mathew and Catherine Knepler Mindr. She was married to Louis Zurkamer, Feb. 12, 1907, in Lincoln.

He died May 21, 1956. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Stoll, coln; four sons, Clarence, Waynesville; Raymond, R.R. 3, Lincoln; Elmer, 13 Berenz Place, Bloomington; Donald, Lincoln; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Five brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and its Altar and Rosary Society, Mrs. Marie Boundy Mrs. Rose Zurkamer ROBERTS (PNS) Mrs. Marie Boundy, 58, of Chicago, formerly of Roberts, died at 7:30 p.m.

Sunday in South Chicago Hospital. Her funeral will be: at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church here, the Rev. Arthur Dryver officiating.

Burial will be in Lyman Cemetery at Roberts. Visitation will be this evening at Ketchum Chapel, 2036 W. 79th Chicago; and day morning at the Funeral Home in Roberts. She was born Dec. 30, 1909, near Buckley, a daughter of Larry and Emma Hubner Kietzman.

She was married to George Boundy, who preceded her in death on Aug. 18, 1955. Survivors include: one son, Paul Dietterle, Alsip; one daughter, Mrs. Shirley Schipits, Oak Lawn; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Rueck, Roberts; Mrs.

Evelyn Tinberg, Paxton; two brothers, William Kietzman, Rochester, Walter Kietzman, Roberts; eight grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three sisters. Mrs. Boundy was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in South Chicago. Wilfred Coe DWIGHT (PNS) -Wilfred C.

Coe. 84, died at 8 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Hospital in Streator. Mr.

Coe obtained a bachelor's degree from Dennison University at Granville, Ohio, and a master's degree from the University of Chicago. He taught school for 40 years, the last 10 years at Dwight Township High School. He retired in 1952. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the G.

H. Tuttle residence at Atlanta, the Rev. Paul Beach officiating. Burial will be in Atlanta Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 7 o'clock tonight at the Baker Funeral Home in Dwight.

He was born Oct. 8, 1884, at Upland, a son of Jabez and Susan Cursley Coe. He married Ada Ellis, Aug. 28, 1912, at Atlanta. She died in 1966.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Swanson, St. Louis, Mrs. Dorothy Robinson, Mazon; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and sisters and one greatgrandchild.

Mr. Coe was member of the Atlanta Baptist Church and the National Retired Teachers Association. Lawrence Vogel BENSON (PNS) Lawrence A. Vogel, 84, formerly of Benson, died at 3 a.m. Monday in St.

Mrs. Buescher DANVERS (PNS) The funeral of Mrs. Lillie S. Buescher, 81, who died Monday, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the byterian Church.

The Rev. Ike Meyer will officiate with burial Cemetery. "Visitation will be 6-9 tonight at the Otto-Argo Funeral Home. Mrs. Buescher was born at Stanford July 23, 1887, a daughter of William and Mary Mueller Oehler.

She was married to Edward R. Buescher Sept. 28, 1907 at Bloomington. He died July 26, 1960. Surviving are two sons, Donald, Shirley; Louis, Chicago; a daughter, Mrs.

Everett Yoder, Danvers: two brothers, Charles Oehler Edward Oehler Danvers; five sisters, Mrs. Gus Imig and Mrs. Louis Graff, both Minier; Mrs. Henry Brenneman, Peru; Mrs. Charles Loeffler, 605 Florence, Bloomington; Mrs.

George Franks, Danvers; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchil-sisi dren. Two children, a brother and a sister preceded her in death. She was a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star of Danvers and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. James Bermingham LINCOLN (PNS) James Bermingham, 90, formerly of Lincoln, died Monday in Houston, Tex. He will be brought to the Holland and Barry Funeral Home here.

Graveside rites will be accorded at a later date. He was born in Chicago, Feb. 13, 1878, a son of Walter and Margaret O'Brien Bermingham. He married Lorena Beach in 1900. She died in 1948.

Surviving are two sons, Walter, Lufkin, James, Oklahoma City, a daughter, Mrs. T. J. Coogan, Chicago; a brother, Walter, South Bend, a sister, Mrs. Leonard MaGrath, Kansas City, Mrs.

Lena Gentes PONTIAC (PNS)-Mrs. Lena A. Gentes, 89, of R.R. 3, Pontiac, died at 6 a.m. Monday at St.

James Hospital. She had been ill two years. Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Raleigh J. Harris Funeral Home, the Rev.

Burial Reuben will be Zepick in officiating. Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 4 o'clock today. She was born May 22, 1879, in Pike Township, a daughter of Herman and Augusta Felwolk Lommatsch. She was married to Alfred Gentes, Jan.

20, 1910. He died in 1946. Surviving is one son, DeLoss Gentes of Graymont. Mrs. Gentes was also preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

She was a member of the Nigh Chapel Methodist Church and a charter member of the Rooks Creek Home Extension. William H. Cooper PEKIN (PNS) William H. Cooper, 76, Pekin building contractor, died early Monday morning at his home here. His funeral will be at 1 p.m.

Wednesday in Kuecks Funeral Home, the Rev. Glen Sims officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-5 and 7-9: o'clock today. He was born April 23, 1892, at Maquoketa, Iowa, a son of George and Minnie Rapp Cooper Jr.

He married Emma Ebrsold, Oct. 1923. Surviving are nis wife; a daughter, Mrs. Janis Sudbery, Pekin; a son, William, Batavia; three sisters, Mrs. Thelma Phillips, Seattle, Mrs.

Maxine Stewart, Santa Monica, Mrs. Ruth Watson, Pekin; three brothers, Merlin E. and Stuart both of Maquoketa, Iowa; Paul, Iowa Falls, Iowa; five grandchildren. Two brothers preceded him in death. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Empire Masonic Lodge 126, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Pekin Legion Post.

Mrs. Zuccarini PEKIN (PNS)-Mrs. Pearl M. Zuccarini, 64. died at 6:30 p.m.

Sunday in Pekin Memorial Hospital. She had been ill one year. Her funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in Abts Mortuary and at 10 a.m. in St.

Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock today. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. She was born March 27, 1904, in Mercatino, Italy, a daughter of Dominic and Giuditte Bonciucci Gianessi.

She was married to Pelegreno Zuccarini, Aug. 6, 1921, in Pekin. He died April 6, 1935. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Irene Martin and Mrs.

Lillian Lane, both of Pekin; three sisters, Mrs. Antonette Casetti, Mrs. Pauline Lami and Mrs. Angeline Ozella, all of Pekin; two brothers, Orfeo and Lazzaro Gianessi, both of Pekin; four grandchildren; four grandchildrenm She was also preceded in death by one sister. member of St.

Joseph's "Church, its Altar and Rosary Society, and the ItalianAmerican Recreation Club. L. Eugene Striegel Friday will become a partner in the accounting firm of Allsup, Vollbracht and Coffman. He will head the newly created tax department of the firm. The name will be changed to Allsup, Vollbracht, Coffman and Striegel.

The company offices will remain on the seventh floor of Peoples Bank. Mr. Striegel is certified public accountant and a member of the Illinois Society of Accountants. He is a native of the Twin Cities and a graduate of Florida State University. Pekinite Found Dead in Bathtub PEKIN -William A.

Coffey, 47, was found dead Sunday evening at his home. Mr. Coffey was found by his wife shortly after 9 p.m. He was submerged in the family bathtub. Tazewell County Coroner Louis Imig will schedule an inquest at a later date.

Mr. Coffey was employed as meat manager for the Ben Schwartz Food Market in Peoria. His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Preston Funeral Home, the Rev. Joseph A.

Mason officiating. There will be no visitation. He was born Oct. 6, 1921, at Versailles, the son of Sterling and Mildred Gaut Coffey. He married Shirley J.

Dennis, Nov. 10, 1945, in Pekin. He is survived by his wife; his mother, Mrs. Mildred Coffey, Carterville: a son, Dennis. at home: three sisters, Mrs.

William Jones. Osceola, Mrs. William Elders and Miss Edna Coffey, both of. Carterville; two brothers, Charles, Moline; the Rev. Roland Coffey, Armonk, N.Y.

He was a member of the Methodist Church, Empire Masonic Lodge 126, Local 543 of AM and BW, and the Pekin Country Club. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. MARY'S Streator Admitted moved to Bloomington when she was a chid. She entered the congregation of the Third Order of St. Francis Sept. 27, 1930, and pronounced her religious vows in 1933. She was a registered nurse and anesthetist and was on active duty in various hospitals for the past 32 years.

Since 1961, she had worked at St. John's. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Rose Sexton, R.R. Mrs.

Mary Murrell, 824 S. East; Mrs. Lorraine Bradley, Downs; three brothers, Alvin of San Deigo, Hugo of Downs, and Harold of 1516 Linden. John Hanson John Hanson, 78, of 510 W. Stewart died at 12:10 a.m.

Tuesday at Brokaw Hospital. He had been ill about three months. Mr. Hanson retired as a supply man at the Gulf. Mobile and Ohio Railroad in 1959.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Carmody Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Hanson was born April 28, 1890, in Helsenburg, Sweden, a son of Hans and Amelia Hanson. He was married to Alma Lush in 1917 in Bloomington. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Henrietta Henson, Chillicothe, Ohio, and Mrs.

Frances Moss, St. Petersburg, and five grandchildren. A brother preceded him in death. Mr. Hanson was a member of Holy Trinity Church and the Brotherhood of Railway Employes.

Telford, Pontiac Harrison Fahrnkopf Dies; Early County Farm Adviser Harrison Fahrnkopf, former farm adviser for McLean County, died Monday in Carle Memorial Hospital, Urbana, where he had been a patient a few days. He was 80 years old. His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the University Place Christian Church, Champaign, with Dr. R.

H. Miller Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Lake Fork Cemetery, Atwood. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m.

Wednesday at the Born Funeral Home in Atwood. Masonic rites will be at 8 p.m. Mr. Fahrnkopf came to McLean County in 1920 from the University of Illinois, where he had served seven years on the staff of the agronomy department. He became the third farm advisor of McLean County in 1921, a position he held until 1928.

when he became director and manager of the grain department of the Illinois Agricultural Association. In this latter post. he served 12 years. During his tenure with IAA he was general manager of the first Illinois Grain a regional of the Farmers National Grain Corp. He farmed near DeLand from 1940 until he moved to Champaign in 1948.

He served as general manager for United Grain Co. in that city until his retirement in 1963. The company was a regional cooperative grain marketing organization. At the time of his retirement, he also was serving as a member of the board of directors of the National Federation of Grain Co Ops, Washington, D. C.

and Producers Exnort New York. After his retirement he devoted his time to his farming interests. Mr. Fahrnkopf was born on a farm near Ivesdale July 6, 1888, a son of John and Matilda Riess Fahrnkopf. He graduated from Atwood High School in 1907 and graduated in 1913 from the University of Illinois College of Agriculture.

He was awarded a master's degree in agronomy in 1920. He was married to Gwendolyn Large of Flora, July 4, 1931, in Vincennes, Ind. Mr. Fahrnkopf was a member of the University Place Christian Church and Bloomington Masonic Lodge 43. While in Bloomington, he was an active member of the cast of the American Passion Play.

He also was a life member of the of I Alumni Association, Sigma Xi, Gamma Sigma Delta and Alpha Zeta, all honorary fraternities. In addition, Mr. Fahrnkonf was a charter member of the Bloomington Kiwanis Club and for more than 25 years was an active member of the American Legion, Louis E. Davis Post. He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs.

Frank Desandre, Oak Park: Mrs. John Shrader, R.R. 1, Champaign, and Miss Nancy, Champaign, and two grandsons. He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. The family has suggested tort any expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of contributions to the Memorial Fund of the University Place Christian Church in Champaign or to the Heart Fund,.
