Waugler EL PASO (PNS) The funeral of John S. Waugler, 81, who died Wednesday at Mennonite Hospital in Bloomington, will be at 2 j). m. Saturday at the Vincent Me morial Home, with the Rev. R.

J. Zehr officiating. Burial will be in Troyer Cemetery near Carlock. Visitation will begin at 7 p. m.

Friday at the memorial home. Mr. Waugler was born in Canada Nov. 14, 1876, a son of Joseph Samuel and Eva King Waugler. He came to Illinois as a child, and married Lulu Mills in 1908.

She' died in Florida in 1933. He was a' retired -carpenter and painter. Surviving are two Mrs. Eunice Driggers, Punta Gor-da, Mrs. Mary Grzyba, New-i ark, N.

three sisters, Mrs. Bertha McClure, 505 S. Roosevelt Bloomington; Mrs. Minnie Hilton, Mrs. William Wosnak, El Paso; a brother, Eddie, Chesterton, two grandchildren.

Two sisters preceded him in death. He was a member of the Christian Church. William Kelso Sr. DEER CREEK William Kelso Sr. of Deer Creek died at 3 p.

m. Thursday at his home. He was taken to the Ludwig Mortuary at Morton. Arrangements are incomplete. McLean Post Will Honor Korean Vets McLEAN (PNS) Burger-Benedict post, American Legion, plans to erect a permanent plaque in memory 'of Korean veterans who served from McLean and Funks Grove communities.

Anton Hildebrandt is chairman of the plaque committee, which will place a record book in the McLean Post Office for recording of names of Korean veterans. To be included, a veteran must have served one or more days between June 25, 1950, and July 1, 1953, dates set by congress as to eligibility. Orphaned af Christmas Long Beach, Calif. He was taken to the Ral eigh J. Harris Funeral Home. His funeral will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the First Methodist Church, with the Rev.

17, 1907, in Pike Township. He was secretary-treasurer of the Farmers Telephone Co. 22 years, a member of a rural school board 18 years, and a county school trustee. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Pon tiac 48 years, of the official church board 40 years, and of the church choir 22 years. Surviving are his wife; a daugh ter, Mrs.

Ruth McCabe, Pontiac; a son, Merle, Jfonuac; a brotner, Christian, Weston; three grand children. Five sisters and two brothers preceded him in death. George Fisher DELAVAN (PNS) George Fisher, 87, of Delavan died at 7 p. m. Thursday at Hopedale Hos pital in Hopedale, following a long illness.

He was taken to the Hall- mann Funeral Home. His funeral will be at 10 a. m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rev.

James Fay officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. The Rosary will be said at 8 p. m.

Sunday at the funeral home. Visitation will begin at 3 p. m. Saturday at the funeral home. He was born Aug.

24, .1870, at Falmouth, Ky.j a son of Casper and Magdalena Fisher. He was married to Mary Johnting 30, 1894, at Falmouth. She died in 1925. He moved to Illinois in 1903 and farmed near Delavan until retiring 15 years ago. Surviving are two sons, George, Grundy Center, Iowa; Joseph, Delavan; three daughters, Mrs.

Isabelle Cullinan, Grundy Center; Mrs. Rose Mclntire, Easton; Mrs. Mary Allgood, Delavan; 12 grand children, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A daughter, nine brothers and a sister, preceded him in death. He was a member of St.

Mary's Church. Mrs. Elizabeth Miller TREMONT Mrs. Elizabeth Miller, 86, died at 4:30 p. m.

Thursday at the Morton Nursing Home in Morton, following a two year illness. Her funeral will be at 12 p. m. Sunday, at the Wilkey Funeral Home in Tremont, and at 12:30 p. m.

at the Apostolic Christian Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 p. m. Friday at the funeral home. She was born in Bavaria, Germany, May 3, 1871, a daughter of John and Anna Bahr Mussel man.

She came to Tremont 78 years ago. She was married to Gottfred Miller. Dec. 20, 1920, in Tremont. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are a brother, Ernest of Tremont; a sister, Mrs. Henry Getz, of Tremont, and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Tremont Apostolic Christian Church. i Steven Broughton LINCOLN (PNS) Steven Leigh Broughton, five months old son of Leigh arid Mildred Krusz Broughton of Mount Pulaski, died at 8:20 p. m.

His funeral will be at 9:30 a. m. Saturday at St Thomas Acquinas Catholic Church in Mount Pulaski, with the Rev. Edward Krewer offi ciating. Burial will be in Moujit Pulaski Cemetery.

He was born July 8, 1957. Surviving are his parents, three sisters, Starr, Dwan, and Lisa, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Broughton of Mount Pulaski, and Mrs. Andrew Krusz, of Lincoln.

E. P. Bergstrom GIBSON CITY (PNS) Ed ward P. Bergstrom, 74, of Gibson City died in Gibson Gty Com munity Hospital at 10:20 p. m.

Thursday. He had been a patient for eight days. The funeral will be at 2 p. m. at the Lamb Funeral Home Sun day with the Rev.

R. M. Luedde of Cisma Park, formerly of Gibson City, officiating. Burial will be in Gibson City cemetery. Visitation will begin at 7 p.

m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Bergstrom was born Feb. 1, 1883, in Foosland, a son of August and Anna Johnson Bergstrom.

He never married. He was employed for many years by Peterson Flor al Co. in Gibson City. For 10 years, he was city clerk at Gib son City, retiring from that position in 1950. He is survived by two broth ers, Hampton Bergstrom oi alb- ley and Claude Bergstrom waukee, two sisters, Mrs.

Beta Gottrick and Mrs. Auda Hay, both of LaPorte, eight nieces, and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. Emil Stoller GRIDLEY (PNS) Emil R. Stoller, 89, a retired Gridley farmer, died at 6:50 p.

m. Thurs day, following a long illness. His funeral will be at 1 p. m. Sunday at the Apostolic Christian Church, with the Rev.

Joe Klopfenstein officiating. Burial will be in Gridley Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 7 p. m. Friday at the Stoller residence.

He was born Sept 2, 1868, a Metamora, a son of John' and Elizabeth Rinkenberger Stoller. He married Anna L. Rich Jan. 31, 1892, and, after her death, June 1, 1934, Elizabeth Kuerth, in 1936. Surviving are his wife; three daughters Mrs.

George J. Getz, Morton; Miss Louise and Miss Anna, Morton; seven sons, Eli, Lacrosse, Henry, Bluffton; Walter, Morton; George, Virgil and Elmer, Gridley; Alph, EI Paso; a sister, Mrs. Otto Schlatter, Latty, Ohio; two brothers, Samuel, Peoria; Chris, Gridley; 24 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Mrs.

Florence Barley LE ROY (PNS) Florence M. Barley, 87, of 213 E. Jefferson St. died at 5 p. m.

Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She had been bedfast since breaking a hip about a year ago and had suf fered a stroke at 10 a. m. Thursday.

She was taken to the Stensel Funeral Home at Le Roy. Ar rangements are incomplete. She was born Jan. 4, 1870, in Le Roy, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Willet Martin. She was mar ried to Frank Barley in 1900 in Le Roy. Her husband operated an insurance and loan company in Le Roy many years and died about 30 years ago. Surviving are two sons, Wayne, of 213 E. Jefferson St; Francis, of Washington, D.

a. half brother, Homer Martin, Branford, a half sister, Mrs. Verd Olsip, Clinton; and two grandchildren.
