Manor Nursing Home, Blooming-ton. She was born Oct 27, 1909')n Casey County, a daughter- jpf John and Anna Moran McWhorr ter. She married John J. Walsh oi Aug. 14, 1943, in Decatur.

He Dec. 19, 1984. -Z Surviving are one son, Wayne Becker, Walnut Creek, -1 daughter, JoAnn Thomas, Pana; two sisters, Nellie Chambers, Yelm, and Dorothy Wall- izer, Cumberland, one brother, Luther "Link" McWhorter, Odenville, six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one daughter and four brothers. Mrs.

Walsh worked at St. Joseph's Hospital, Bloomington, for, more than 35 years, retiring June 18, 1986. and Fannie Bieringer Weinzierl. He married Maxine Winstead on Feb. 6, 1943, at Bloomington.

Also surviving are two sons, Rick, Urbana, and Jim, Lexington; three brothers, Robert, Stanford; John, Bloomington; and Donald, Lib-ertyville; and three grandsons. Four brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Weinzierl was a former resident of Stanford and had been a resident of Colfax since 1948. He was a farmer, having retired in 1981.

Mr. Weinzierl also was a carpenter. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as sergeant in the Air Corps' medical detach-. ment He was a member of the Colfax American Legion Davis-Kerber Post 653 and AMVETS of Colfax. Memorials may be made to the McLean Chapter of the American Cancer Society, the Eastern McLean County Ambulance Association or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Lee H. White MORTON Lee H. White, 62, of Morton died at 5:05 p.m. yesterday (Oct 29, 1991) at his home. He had been ill.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ludwig-Rohrschneider Mortuary, Morton, the Rev. Keith Huff officiating. Burial will be in Mackinaw Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m.

Thursday at the mortuary. He was born April 8, 1929, in Lilly, the son of Henry and Josie Friend White. He married Shirley Wood on Dec. 3, 1955, in Morton. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Mike, Bloomington; one daughter, Lynne White, Normal; and three grandchildren. Three brothers preceded him in death. Mr. White, formerly of Mackinaw, lived in Morton for three years. He worked in the parts department at Caterpillar Inc.

in Morton for 28 years, retiring June 1, 1991. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Memorials may be made to Methodist Hospice program in care of Methodist Medical Center, Peoria. and a member of Carpenters Local 183 in Peoria. He attended the Sheridan Road Apostolic Christian Church.

Frances Reising CHATSWORTH Frances Reising, 84, of Loyal, and formerly of Chatsworth, died at 12:58 p.m. yesterday (Oct 29, 1991) at North Point Nursing Center, Abbotsford, Wis. She will be brought to Culkin-Diggle Funeral Home, Chatsworth. Raymond Strampp LINCOLN Raymond 73, of Lincoln, a retired painter and state employee, died at 6:06 p.m.

Monday (Oct 28, 1991) at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln. His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holland Barry Funeral Home, Lincoln, the Rev. Richard Reinwald officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Lincoln.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Strampp was born Jan. 4, 1918, at Lincoln, a son of William and Anna Seitzer Strampp.

Survivors include a nephew, Harold Strampp, rural Lincoln. Mr. Strampp was formerly a painter and also was employed by the state Division of Highways. He was a member of St John United Church of Christ, Lincoln. Memorials may be made to Sharwood Healthcare Center, Lincoln.

Mary Suchert TREMONT Mary Suchert, 85, of 312 S. Chestnut St, Tremont, died at 6 a.m. yesterday (Oct 29, 1991) at her home. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Tremont United Methodist Church, the Rev.

David Walls officiating. Burial will be in Apostolic Cemetery, Tremont Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Davis Mortuary, Tremont Mrs. Suchert was born Sept 13, 1906, in rural Tremont, a daughter of Jacob and Fredricka Lindauer Knapp. She married Frank Suchert on Nov.

26, 1927. He died in 1929. Survivors include one son, Dr. Robert E. Suchert, Edmonds, three sisters, Rose Knapp, Lydia Staker and Elsie Staker, all of Tremont; and three grandchildren.

Two sisters and four brothers preceded her in death. Mrs. Suchert had worked at Morton Pottery in Morton for 24 years, retiring in 1968. She was a member of Tremont United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to her church.

Jesse Brenneisen MORTON Jesse H. Brenneisen, 91, of 730 W. Jefferson St, Apt 32, Morton, died at 1:30 p.m. yesterday (Oct 29, 1991) at Morton Healthcare Centre. His funeral will be at 2 p.m.

Thursday at Knapp Funeral Home, Clifton, the Rev. Jonathon Kosec officiating. Burial, will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Chebanse. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Dtnapp-Johnson Funeral Home, Mjbrton, is in charge of local arrangements.

He was born Nov. 13, 1899, in Chebanse, the son of Frank and Louise Belanger Brenneisen. He married Jennie C. Cornelison on July 4, 1925, in Paxton. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Phyllis Evelsizer, Morton; one brother, Edward, Chebanse; four sisters, Dehlia TayLer, Normal; and Jflne Hansen, Louise Skaggs, and Hjzel Ader, all of Chebanse; one gvandson; and two greatgrandchildren. Two brothers and one infant sister preceded him in death. He worked at the former Wilmington Arsenal Plant in the 1940s and later at General Foods in Kankakee for several years before retiring in 1965. He was a member of United Church of Christ, Chebanse, and a more than 50-year member of the Masonic lodge in Chebanse where he was past worshipful master. In the 1940s.

Mr. Brenneisen was a volunteer fireman for the Chebanse fire department Memorials may be made to his church. Minnie Buswink MORTON Minnie L. Buswink, 84, of R.R. 1, Morton, died at 3 p.m.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Davis Mortuary, Tremont was born Aug. 30, 1907, in njger, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Eicher Weishaupt She alarried Frank Buswink on Dec. 2J5, 1926, in South Dakota. He survives.

Margaret DeFries FAIRBURY Margaret De-Fries, 90, of Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury, died at 7:35 yesterday (Oct 29, 1991) at the ljome. 5 Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, the Rev. Alan Good officiating.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. tonight and one hour before the service Thursday at the memorial home. She was born Sept 27, 1901, in Oglesby, the daughter of William and Elizabeth Koenig Norton. She harried Henry DeFries June 18, 927, in Minonk.

He died Sept 20, 1958. "Surviving are one son, N.E. "Hap" DeFries, Fairbury; one sister, Lois Hollenback, Marseilles; four grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren. One brother and three sisters preceded her in death. She was affiliated with the Evangelical and Reformed Church, LaSalle.

She was a 50-year member of the Art Club and a member of the Twosomes Bridge Club and the Fortnightly Bridge Club, all of Fairbury. Mrs. DeFries was a bookkeeper for Goodwin Brothers Ford Garage in Minonk and for Fairbury Hospital. She and her husband had been partners in Fairbury Coal Shute. Memorials may be made to Fairview Haven Nursing Home.

85, of Onarga. a retired farmer. died at 11:35 a.m. yesterday (Oct 29, 1991) at Gilman Nursing Home, Gilman. His funeral will be at 11 a.m.

Fairley was born Aug. 15, 1906, in rural Roberts, a son of Harry and Luella Bunker Fairley. He married Venice Whorrall Jan. 25, 1922, in Gilman. She survives.

Other survivors include one nephew, Russell Fairley, Melvin. He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Mr. Fairley fanned in the Roberts area for several years. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's' choice.

Delia P. Hunt SIBLEV Delia P. Hunt, 98, of 603 N. St, Monmouth, mother of Gwen Lindholm, Sibley, died at 12:50 a.m. yesterday (Oct 29, 1991) at Community Memorial Hospital, Monmouth.

There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Macomb. Visitation will be until 1 p.m. at Hoover Memorial Chapel, Monmouth. Memorials may be made to Monmouth First Christian Church.

Francis W. Immke FAIRBURY Francis W. "Peck" Immke, 76, of Fairbury died at 4:10 p.m. yesterday (Oct 29, 1991) at Saint James Hospital, Pontiac, after a lengthy illness. His funeral will be at 11 a.m.

Friday at First United Methodist Church, Pontiac, the Rev. Sharon Monroe officiating. Burial will be at Five Mile Cemetery, rural Saunemin, with military rites accorded. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 D.m. Thursday at Duffy Funeral Home, Pontiac, and one hour before the service at the church.

He was born July 24, 1915, in Owego Township, the son of Henry and Anna Branz Immke. He married Pearl L. Kime on Oct 8, 1943, in Washington, D.C. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Keith Springfield; one daughter, Elaine A.

Immke, at home; and one sister, Marietta A. Sancken, Fairbury. He attended rural schools in Owego Township and Saunemin High School. He farmed all his life in Owego Township and the Saunemin area. He and his wife ran a restaurant in Saunemin for 13to years.

Mr. Immke was a member of Livingston County Farm Bureau; member of First United Methodist Church, Pontiac; and a former member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, rural Saunemin. He was a World War II veteran, serving from 1942 to 1946. Memorials may be made to the Immke family, who will divide them among their charities. Wayne F.

Kettwich MINONK Wayne Franklin Kettwich, 68, of 719 Oak St, Minonk, former Minonk police chief, died at 4:30 a.m. yesterday (Oct 29, 1991) at Brokaw Hospital, Normal. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Minonk Baptist Church, the Rev. Harry Sanders officiating.

Burial will be in Minonk Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Folkers-Froelich Memorial Home, Minonk, and for one hour before the service Thursday at the church. Mr. Kettwich was born Dec.

18, 1922, in Flanagan, a son of Carl and Minnie Harms Kettwich. He married Marjorie Cunningham Jan. 28, 1948, in Sterling. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, John, Hennepin, and Paul, Brandon, one daughter, Janet Hall, 32 Harry Drive, Bloomington; one sister, Florence Durre, Flanagan; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother. Mr. Kettwich was a police officer for Minonk Police Department for 28 years, and also served as police chief for several years. He attended Minonk Baptist Church and was a member of Minonk American Legion. He was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II.

Memorials may be made to the church or American Cancer Society. 2, Heyworth, will be at 10 a.m. today at Kibler-Smith Memorial Home, Bloomington, The Rev. Richard Gray will officiate. Burial will be in Funks Grove Cemetery. Mr.

Myers, a retired Air Force veteran and former Postal Service employee, died at 8 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 27, 1991) at Hins Kenneth Myers dale Hospital, Hinsdale, of an ap parent heart attack. He was born Feb. 8, 1943, at Bloomington, a son of Kenneth and Grace Woith Myers.

He married Starlane Talaga on Sept 5, 1964, in Elmhurst She survives in Heyworth. Other survivors include his mother, Grace Webb, Shady Knolls Mobile Home Park, Bloomington; two sons, Scott of Kent, Ohio, and Mark, at two daughters, Susan Myers, at home, and Michelle Myers, 2408 Rainbow Bloomington; two brothers, Pete Myers, Savannah, and Raymond Myers, Downs; and two sisters, Juanita Jones, Decatur, and Virginia Adams, R.R. 2, Bloomington. His father and stepfather preceded him in death. Mr.

Myers was a retired 20-year veteran of the Air Force. He had been employed as an L.S.M. operator and part-time supervisor at Bloomington Post Office, where he was a former union steward. He also had been a Cub Scout pack-master. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Monday (Oct 28, 1991) at Peoria. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sheridan Road Apostolic Christian Church, Peoria, with church ministers officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Tremont. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.

Greeks to patrol Halloween night About 75 Illinois State University fraternity and sorority members will patrol Normal streets Hallow- I een night to protect trick-or- treaters and to minimize van- dalism. Members of Delta Chi fraternity and the Chi Omega sorority will I patrol areas between School Street and Main Street, and between Gregory Street and Raab Road. I Fraternity raises $1,000 for MDA More than $1,000 was raised to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy I Association recently by Illinois Wesleyan University's Sigma Chi Fraternity. Students participated in a "Bowl Against Dystrophy" and raised $1,028, which will be used to sup- I port MDA's medical services and research aiding Central Illinois families. Morris Bloomington. One son and one sister preceded him in death. Mr. Aldridge was a semi driver for Georgia Pacific Corp. since 1982, and prior to that was a lot foreman for Baumgart Building Center for 12 years.

i4 Ola Swallow LeROY Ola Ann Swallow, 88, of Gibson Manor, Gibson City, and formerly of R.R. 2, LeRoy, died at 6 a.m. yesterday (Oct 29, 1991) at Gibson Manor. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, LeRoy, the Rev.

Lee Reed officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, LeRoy. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. She was born Oct 3, 1903, in Rutledge Township, DeWitt County, a daughter of Howard and Nora Story Vance.

She married Leo Swallow on Aug. 28, 1929, in Farmer City. He died April 25, 1978. Surviving are two sons, Ralph Sarasota, and Carl, R.R. 2, LeRoy; two daughters, Fern L.

Edward Weinzierl COLFAX Edward S. Weinzierl, 72, of Colfax died at 1:35 a.m. yesterday (Oct 29, 1991) at St Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, after a short illness. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax, the Rev.

Dick Brunskill officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Bloomington. Military rites will be conducted by the Colfax American Legion Oavis-Kerber Post 653. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with a wake prayer service at 7:30 p.m.
