Canale, 53, of 7 Pine Tree Road, Streator, died at 1:05 a.m. yesterday (Jan. 28, 1993) at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator. She had been ill.

Her funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony's Church, the Rev. Pacian Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hagi Funeral Home, Streator, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. She was born April 13, 1939, in Pikesville, a daughter of Bert and Cora Rattliff Flanary. She married Thomas J. Canale Sr.

Jan. 5, 1961, in Springfield. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Charles V. Canale and Paul E.

Rhodes, both of Streator; a stepson, Thomas Canale Streator; two stepdaughters, Rosemary Martin, Streator, and Barbara Moore, Joliet; and four brothers, Carl, Sterling, Bert and Merve Flanary, all of Streator. Her parents and one sister preceded her in death. She and her husband owned and operated Canale Real Estate since January 1978. Mr. Canale will continue the agency with office staff.

She was a member of the Streator Association of Commerce and Industry since 1979 and served as president in 1987. She was active in community affairs and Chamber of Commerce business, and instrumental in organizing the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry development boards into one local board. She was a licensed broker in insurance and real estate and was licensed by the state as a real estate appraiser. She served many years on the LaSalle County Community Mental Health Board. She was a member of Illini Valley Board of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and a member of the Appraisal Institute of Chicago.

Shell March 16, 1955, in Springfield. She died July 4, 1992. Survivors include one son, John, Farmer City; one daughter, Donna Lee Lee, Dallas; and one grandson. Two brothers preceded him in death. Mr.

Deeters had been of Deeters Trailer Court in Farmer City since 1969. He had owned and operated Shell Motor and Marine Sales, Farmer City, for many years and had been shop foreman for Shell Downs Motors, Clinton, for several years. Dickerson LINCOLN Helen M. Dickerson, 84, of Lincoln, died at 2:35 p.m. yesterday (Jan. 28, 1993) at Proctor Community Hospital, Peoria. Her graveside funeral will be at 1:30 p.m.

Saturday at Zion Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Holland Barry Funeral Home, Lincoln. Mrs. Dickerson was born Dec.

13, 1908, in North Little Rock, a daughter of William and Fannie Marie Adams Fitzgerald. She married William T. Dickerson May 10, 1941, in Lonoke, Ark. He died Oct. 12, 1987.

Survivors include two nephews. Two sisters and three brothers preceded her in death. Mrs. Dickerson worked at Lincoln Garment Factory for 21 years, retiring in July 1974. She was a member of Women of the Moose.

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice. Albert L. Goeken DELAVAN Albert L. Goeken, 71, of Delavan, died at 3:55 a.m. yesterday (Jan.

28, 1993) at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria. His funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Woolsey Funeral Home, Delavan, the Rev. John Seed officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Rest Cemetery, Delavan, with military rites accorded by American Legion Post 382.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. He was born Oct. 2, 1921, in Delavan, a son of Charles and Margaret Fink Goeken. He married Dorothy Burt March 8, 1947, in Delavan.

She survives. Other survivors include one son, Jeffrey Normal; three daughters, Linda Rokey, Eureka; Susan Mangold, Delavan; and Patti Kelly, Quincy; one sister, Marjorie Whitesell, Lakewood, five brothers, Marvin, Kenneth and Paul, all of Delavan; Donald, Pekin; and Harold, Tuscola; 10 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. Three brothers preceded him in death. He farmed in the Delavan and Armington area for 15 years and then worked for Caterpillar Tractor Peoria, for 25 years, retiring in 1988. He served in the Army during World War II, and was a member of American Legion Post 382 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1871, both of Delavan.

Survivors include two sons, John and Brian, both of Henry; a daughter, Marla Maubach, Henry; seven brothers, Stanley, Quincy; Melvin, Robert, Howard and Harold, all of Henry; Erwin, Minnesota; and Glenn, Blackstone; seven sisters, Pearl Reynolds and Norma Rogers, both of Henry; and Virginia Winterrowd, Arlene Kacmar, Jeanette Carlone, Jean Donze and Lamberta Beckman, all of Streator; and one grandchild. Moore, 95, of Kempton, a homemaker and native of Kentucky, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Kempton United Methodist Church. The Revs. James A. Thompson and John Story will officiate.

Moore died at 5:20 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 27, 1993) at Central Community Hospital, Clifton. She was born Sept. 16, 1897, in Perryville, a daughter of Charles and Annabelle Roney.

She married Chester L. Moore May 24, 1915, in Harrodsburg, Ky. He died March 4, 1963. Survivors include three sons, Charles Moore, Kempton; Marvin Moore, Platka, and John Moore, Daytona Beach Shores, two daughters, Helen Behrends, Coal Valley, and Lavon Wright, Kempton; one brother, Rupert Roney, Perryville, three sisters, Lena Penigrist, Perryville; Margie Sadler, Louisville, and Nettie Wilson, Harrodsburg; 15 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Mrs. Moore, who was educated in Perryville schools, was a homemaker. She had been a member of the Kempton United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to her church. This obituary is repeated to correct the date of death.

Edna E. Oller MASON CITY Edna E. Oller, 87, of Lakeland, formerly of the Mason City area, died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 26, 1993) at Lakeland Medical Center.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cain Funeral Home, Mason City, the Rev. Larry Rodgers officiating. Burial will be in Mason City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m.

Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Oller was born Dec. 13, 1905, in Christian County, a daughter of Fred and Lulu Jones Baker. She married Nelson Oller July 10, 1923.

He died Jan. 9, 1975. Survivors include one daughter, Carol Wilcoxson, Easton; one son, Donald, Mason City; two sisters, Clementine McMannus, Chicago, and Louise Oswald, Paoli, three brothers, Harry Baker, Valparaiso, Bi'l Baker, Lakeland, and Francis Baker, Culver City, 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. One son and three brothers preceded her in death. Mrs.

Oller was a member of the Easton United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to her church. Leo F. Reinhardt LINCOLN Leo F. Reinhardt, 91, of 504 Tremont Lincoln, a retired hardware store owner, died at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday (Jan. 27, 1993) at St. Clara's Manor Lincoln. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holland Barry Funeral Home, Lincoln.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Lincoln. There will be no visitation. Mr. Reinhardt was born June 21, 1901, in Monroe, Iowa, a son of Frederick and Bertha Scharf Reinhardt. He married Brooksie Logsdon Oct.

13, 1944, at Springfield. She survives. A half brother preceded him in death. Mr. Reinhardt retired as owner of Reinhardt Hardware Store in 1957 and moved to a farm in West Lincoln Township where the Reinhardts lived until moving to Lincoln in 1974.

He was a life member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 914. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Elsie M. Reinken MORTON The funeral of Elsie M. Reinken, 91, of Morton, a retired librarian and telephone operator, will be at 10:30 a.m.

27, 1993) at Morton Healthcare Center, Morton. She was born Sept. 24, 1901, at Morton, a daughter of Alvin and Fannie Gleichmann Oekel. She married Elmer W. Reinken Sept.

12, 1923, in Pekin. He died July 15, 1962. Survivors include one daughter, Eleanor Jacob, Morton; one son, Robert Morton; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Harriet M. Oekel, Morton, and Helen C. Studyvin, Tremont.

Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Reinken was a General Telephone Co. operator for 15 years, retiring in 1964. For the next eight years she was a librarian at Morton Public Library, retiring in 1972.

She was a charter member of the Bethel Lutheran Church, Morton, and a charter member of the Martha Circle of her church. Memorials may be made to her church. Irene N. Roberts EL PASO Irene N. Roberts, 80, of El Paso, died Thursday (Jan.

21, 1993) at Kishwaukee Community Hospital, DeKalb. Her memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Froelich Memorial Home, El Paso, the Rev. Eugene Kane officiating. Visitation will be for one hour before the service Saturday at the memorial home.

Mrs. Roberts was born Jan. 7, 1913, in El Paso, a daughter of Edmund and Esther Grant North. She married Leo Roberts Jan. 6, 1938, in El Paso.

He survives. Also surviving are one son, Ed Roberts, Rochelle; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister. Mrs. Roberts was a member of St.

Mary's Catholic Church, El Paso, to which memorials may be made. Grove Smith EUREKA Grove Smith, 76, of 31569 Irish Lane, Eureka, died at 5:57 p.m. yesterday (Jan. 1993) at Washington Christian Village. His funeral will be at 11 a.m.

Saturday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Washington, the Revs. Dean Beckwith and Dani Jo Ninke officiating. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery, Washington. Visitation will be for one hour before the service at the church.

Mason-White Funeral Home, Washington, is handling arrangements. Mr. Smith was born April 27, 1916, in Tazewell County, the son of Clifford and Bessie Grove Smith. He married Harriet Kinsinger Oct. 1, 1947, in Washington.

She survives. Other survivors include two brothers, Vernon and Benjamin, both of Washington. A brother and a sister preceded him in death. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

He worked at R.G. Letoureau Peoria, and was a retired farmer. He was a World War II veteran and a member of American Legion Post 100, Washington. He also was a member of the Farm Bureau. Memorials may be made to his church or the American Lung Association.

Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington. Arrangements are pending at Metzler-Froelich Memorial Home, Bloomington. Barker D. Herr Barker D. Herr, 85, of New York, a Bloomington native, died Jan.

21, 1993, at a hospital in New York City. He had double pneumonia. There was no service or visitation. He was cremated at Ferncliff Crematorium in Yonkers, N.Y. Mr.

Herr was born Dec. 30, 1907, in Bloomington, a son of Dr. William D. and Lulu Powell Herr. He married Barbara Stinmetz, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, Barker New York City, and Steven, Hawaii; and one brother, Richard Normal. Mr. Herr had resided in the East for a number of years. He had been living in New York City since retiring. He was an English literature professor in upstate New York.

He was a graduate of Bloomington High School and attended Illinois Wesleyan University and graduated from Northwestern University. Clara A. Rost Clara A. Rost, 90, of Clearwater, a resident of Bloomington for 40 years, died Jan. 19, 1993, at Clearwater Community Hospital.

There was no service. National Cremation Society, Clearwater, had charge of arrangements. Mrs. Rost was born 8, 1902, in Chicago, a daughter of Richard Carl and Anna Augusta Gansz Tesmer. She married Dr.

Theodore A. Rost, a Bloomington dentist. He preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Theodore H. Rost, 1001 Chinaberry Road, Clearwater, five grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren.

One son preceded her in death. Mrs. Rost lived in Bloomington from 1924 to 1964. She moved to Clearwater from Sun City Center, in 1986. She was a member of the PEO Sisterhood.

3, 1909, in Bloomington, a son of Aquilla Thomas and Edna Gertrude Ramsey Smith. He married LaVerne C. Doage July 7, 1943, in Bloomington. She survives. A sister preceded him in death.

Mr. Smith was a former press operator at the Eureka Co. and also owned and managed the Veterans Service Station and Trading Post at Morris Avenue and Monroe Street. He was former president of the Senior Citizens Machinist Lodge 1000. An Army Air Corps veteran of World War II with the rank of technical sergeant, Mr.

Smith was one of those instrumental in having erator and businessman active in veterans organizations, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. The Rev. Ken Barth will officiate, with military rites by Carl S. Martin American.

Normal. Leslie A. Smith the name of Business U.S. 66 changed to Veterans Parkway. He was the former commander of DAV Chapter 60 and was the secretary-treasurer of the Combined Veterans Organization of McLean County.

He also was a member of Carl S. Martin American Legion Post 635 and AMVETS Post 274 and had served as a volunteer for the Red Cross bloodmobile. Before volunteering for the Army Air Corps in 1943, Mr. Smith had been an apprentice barber. He taught himself locksmithing and drew the plans and did the masonry and construction work on the building housing his real estate, insurance and general merchandising business on Morris Avenue.

His carefully maintained residence at Morris Avenue and Olive Street is a neighborhood showplace, winning beautification awards. Mr. Smith had been an unsuccessful candidate for justice of the peace, City Council and city treasurer of Bloomington. Memorials may be made to the DAV. Daisy Tory Daisy Tory, 83, a resident of the Illinois Masonic Home, Sullivan, formerly of Bloomington, died at 10 p.m.
