THE PANTAGRAPH, TUESDAY, JULY 3, 1984 C9 WEDDINGS McLean Studio photo Dowhen-Ummel Tamara Marie Downen, daughter of Richard and Shirley Downen of rural Hudson, and Michael Lee Ummel of El Paso were married at 2 p.m. June 16 at Wesley United Methodist Church. A reception followed at the church. The bridegroom is a son of Donald and Wanda Ummel of rural Carlock. For the ceremony, Brenda Downen was maid of honor; Mary Leichtenberg, Lisa Ford, Becky Lyle and Jennifer Greif, bridesmaids; Paula O'Brien, Christy Shickel and Misty O'Brien, junior bridesmaids; and Tara Shickel, flower girl.

Greg Ummel was best man; Mark Bradle, Donnie, Keith and Gary Ummel, groomsmen; Tadd Shickel, ring bearer; Terry Shickel, David Cooksey, Lari Ummel, Chad O'Brien, Kurt Price and David Martin, ushers. The newlyweds are graduates of Normal Community High School. The new Mrs. Ummel is employed by National Bank of Bloomington. Her husband is employed by Metallic Braden, El Paso.

wedding June 2 of Lisa Marie Mammen of Emden and Thomas Van Townslay of Washington. Parents of the couple are Wanda Mammen of Harrodsburg, and the late Leland Mammen, and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Townslay of Washington. There was a reception at the Lincoln American Legion Hall.

Sonja Behrends, Terri Mammen, Lori Schoedel and Deb Hutchison attended the bride and Rebecca Mammen and Amy Downey were flower girls. Terry Schoedel, Mike Goeken, Marc Evans and David Crain attended the bridegroom. A graduate of Hartsburg-Emden High School and Lincoln College, the new Mrs. Townslay attends Lakeland College, Sheboygan, Wis. Her husband, a graduate of Washington Community High School and Lincoln College, also attends Lakeland College.

The newlyweds reside at 1926 Canterbury, Apt. 4, Washington, following a wedding trip to Nassau, the Bahamas. Handley Keith-Rutledge Married at 2:30 p.m. July 1 at Trinity Lutheran Church were Joyce Keith of 710 E. Jackson Bloomington, and Dave W.

Rutledge of 605 Pine Normal. Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. Verla Keith of 105 W. Bissell Bloomington, and Margaret Rutledge of the Pine Street address.

There was a reception at Wood Hill Towers community center. Debra McGee was matron of honor; Tena Keith, Mary Tosh and Helen Mathis, bridesmaids; Kellie McGee, junior bridesmaid; Megan Keith and Jennifer Rutledge, flower girls. Daniel Rutledge was best man; Bob and Chris Keith, David Tosh and Fred Beckman, groomsmen; and Michael Keith, ring bearer. A graduate of University High School, the new Mrs. Rutledge is employed by Pinkerton's Security Service and by Botanical Designs.

Her husband, a graduate of Normal Community High School, is employed by Corporate Cleaning Service and by Pinecrest Apartments. The newlyweds reside at the bride's address. Siebert-Benson Cheryl Siebert of 216 Prospect Road and James Benson of 2421 E. Washington both of Bloomington, exchanged wedding vows in a 2 p.m. ceremony June at St.

Patrick's Church, LaSalle. There was a reception at the Firehouse Inn, Spring Valley. The bride, daughter of and Mrs. William Siebert of LaSalle, chose Dorie Dieci as matron of honor. Becky Stensland, Donna Siebert, Debbie Benson and Chris Gedye were bridesmaids, and Beth Strowzewski was flower girl.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Benson of Dwight, chose Joseph Benson Jr. as best man. Michael Small, Rick Burger, Joseph Bloxam and Randy Thomas were groomsmen, and Donny Small, ring bearer.

A graduate of Illinois State University, the new Mrs. Benson is employed as a mathematics teacher by Normal Community High School. Her husband, a graduate of the University of Illinois, is employed as a Pantagraph sportswriter. The newlyweds reside at the bride's address, following a honeymoon at Mackinac Island, Mich. A graduate of Odell High School and Beau Monde Beauty School, Champaign, the new Mrs. Harty is employed by Spurgeon's Hair Styling Center, Pontiac. Her husband, a graduate of Dwight High School, is employed by R.R. Donnelly Sons Dwight. Following a wedding trip to the Pocono Mountains, the newlyweds reside at 423 W.

James Barrick of Mackinaw, and Donald Gibson of 802 Arcadia Drive, Bloomington. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gibson of rural El Paso. There was a reception at the Deer Creek American Legion Hall.

Laurie Barrick was maid of honor; Amy Barrick, Linda Newman and Kristi Smith, bridesmaids; and Lindsey Barrick, flower girl. Mark Clarkson was best man; Jack Johnston, Andy Schad and Mike McArthy, groomsmen; and Brian Donnell, ring bearer. The newlyweds are graduates of Deer Creek-Mackinaw High School. The new Mrs. Gibson attended Illinois Central College and is employed by State Farm Insurance Companies.

There was a church reception before the newlyweds left for a honeymoon in Jamaica. Amy Fleetwood was maid of honor; Kim Martin, Julie Grant, Alisa Fowler and Nancy Ure, bridesmaids. Ure is a graduate of Normal Community High School and St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing, Peoria. Her husband is a graduate of Lane Technical High School, Chicago, and Western Illinois University. He is employed as a certified public accountant by Arthur Anderson, Public Accounting, Chicago. The newlyweds reside at 4415 W.

Bodien of 402 Michael Court, Normal, and Linda Marie Borochoff of Dallas, Texas, were married at 2 p.m. June 3 at Graham Chapel, Washington University, St. Louis. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs.

Stan Borochoff of Tulsa, Okla. There was a reception at Breckenridge Frontenac Hotel, St. Louis. Birgit Haglund and David G. Bodien were their attendants.

A graduate of Edison High School, Tulsa, the new Mrs. Bodien has a bachelor's degree in architecture from Washington University, and will be a master's degree candidate at Ohio State University in the fall. Her husband, a graduate of Central Catholic High School, has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a master's degree in architecture from Washington University. Both are intern architects. After a wedding trip to the Lake of the Ozarks and then to Europe, the newlyweds reside at Columbus, Ohio.

Their parents are Vaughn and Linda Beeman of Springfield, Judy Hull of Chambersburg and George Hull of rural Jacksonville. There was a church reception before the newlyweds left for a honeymoon in Wisconsin.

Mrs. Jay Beeman, Kristy Lee and Michelle Orr attended the bride. The bridegroom's attendants were Clay Ham, Jay Beeman, Lowell Black, Bill Parry, Bill Hull and Tim Hatfield. A graduate of Springfield High School, the new Mrs. Hull is a senior at Lincoln Christian College, where she is majoring in secretarial science.

Her husband, a graduate of Meredosia-Chambersburg High School, is also a senior at Lincoln Christian College. They reside in Lincoln. White-Von Glahn CONGERVILLE Married at 2 p.m. June 2 at Congerville Mennonite Church were Tamera Kay White, daughter of Theodore and Arlyss White of Carlock, and Ronald L. Von Glahn, both of rural Belmont, Wis.

He is a son of Charles and Shirley Van Glahn of Belmont. There was a reception at the home of the bride's parents and a June 9 reception at Rebels Ranch, Wisconsin. Teresa Lyn Raney and Kimberly Heins, Charles Von Glahn Jr. and Roger Riechers were their attendants. The new Mrs.

Von Glahn is a graduate of Normal Community High School and attended Illinois Central College. She is employed by Parkview Terrace Medical Records, Platteville, Wis. Her husband is a graduate of Belmont High School and served four years with the U.S. Air Force. He is a senior at the University of Wisconsin, Platteville, and is employed by Rebels Ranch, Belmont, Wis.

The newlyweds reside at 214A Hazel Belmont, following a honeymoon spent at a relative's cabin on the Illinois River, and at Wisconsin Dells. Davenport-Gettler CORNELL (PNS) Debra Lynn Davenport, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Davenport of Joliet and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Ernest Olson of Cornell, became the bride of G. Brian Gettler, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Gettler of Mountain Home, formerly of Homewood, in a 3 p.m. ceremony June 9 at Grace United Methodist Church, Joliet.

There was a reception at Harwood Post, Joliet. Nancy Ahern was maid of honor; Rhonda Bowker and Justine Waloway, bridesmaids; and Amy Dreher, flower girl. The new Mrs. Hibbens is a graduate of Normal Community High School and the University of Illinois. For the past five years she has been employed as English teacher by Bradley -Bourbonnais High School. Her husband, a graduate of University High School and Illinois State University, is employed by Roadway Trucking Adelanto, Calif. Following a wedding trip to Las Vegas, and Palm Springs, the newlyweds reside at 16465 Green Tree Apt.
