Mr. Kaiser was born July 1, 1955, at Lincoln, a son of Henry R. and Alberta Jean McAtee Kaiser. Survivors include his mother, 1500 Aurora Way, Normal; three sisters, Kay Ziebarth, Hudson; Chris Reetz, Monticello; and Connie Eimer, Greenview; and his maternal grandmother, Mary McAtee, Lincoln. His father, paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather preceded him in death.

Mr. Kaiser, who graduated from Normal Community High School in 1973, attended the University of Illinois. He had been an artist and entertainer in the Seattle area where he moved in 1982. Hansel Martin Hansel L. Martin, 94, of 322 W.

Piper St, Macomb, father of Barbara Monninger, Bloomington, died at 4:55 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 16, 1994) at McDonough District Hospital, Macomb. His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home, Macomb, the Rev.

J. William Werner officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Macomb. Visitation will be for one hour before the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr.

Sarah Gschwendtner PONTIAC Sarah "Sally" Gschwendtner, 86, of Pontiac, former resident of Owego Township; Livingston County, died at 6:40 yesterday (Jan. 17, 1994) at Saint James Hospital, Pontiac. Her funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m.

Thursday at St Mary's Catholic Church, Pontiac, the Rev. E. Edward Higgins officiating. Burial will, be in Memorial Park Cemetery 'Pontiac. Vijitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.

Wednesday at Harris-Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Pontiac, where a Christian wake service will be at 5: 15 and the rosary will be recited at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday. Mrs. Gschwendtner was born 1907, at Odell, a daughter of Joseph and Marie Adeline Cretty Metroz. She married Kenneth Gschwendtner Jan.

27, 1931, at Odell. He died March 25, 1980. Survivors include two daughters, Aileen Shoemaker, Pontiac, and Janet Francis, R.R. 3, Pontiac; one Louis Gschwendtner, rural Gardner; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Two brothers and one granddaughter preceded her in death.

From her marriage in 1931 until 1956 when she moved to Pontiac, Mrs. Gschwendtner lived in Owego Township. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church. Memorials may be made to St Mary's School Library Fund, Pontiac, to a charity of the donor's choice. M. Elizabeth Koons HUDSON M. Elizabeth Koons, 85, of 111 Walnut St, Hudson, a homemaker, died at 9:30 a.m. yesterday (Jan. 17, 1994) at BroMenn T.ifeoare Cen sister, Joan Mercier Heller, Mat-toon; and six grandchildren.

His parents and two sisters preceded him in death. He was a member of First Christian Church and served as trustee, past chairman of the church board and recently as chairman of the church's building campaign. He was a member of Normal Lodge 673 AF AM, Bloomington Scottish Rite Bodies, Mohammed Temple Shrine in Peoria and McLean County Shrine Club and had received the 33rd degree from the Northern Masonic jurisdiction of Scottish Rite in 1987. A graduate of University High School, he received his bachelor of science degree from Illinois State Normal University in 1950. He was member and past president of the Illinois State University Foundation; the ISU Alumni Association, receiving its outstanding service award in 1989; and charter member of the ISU Redbird Club and member of its board of directors.

In 1982, he was awarded the Stretch Miller-Friend of Sports Award and received the ISU President's Special Service Award in 1984. Mr. Mercier joined Bloomington Offset Process Inc. in 1950 and in 1975 was named its president In 1981, he bought the company and served as its president and chief executive officer until 1993. He currently was chairman of the board.

He was a member and vice chairman of National Association of Printers and Lithographers. For the past 20 years, he served as president on the board of trustees of the Bloomington and Normal Water Reclamation District and had been a board member for 30 years. He also was a member and past president of the Illinois Association of Sanitary Districts and the Normal Rotary Club, and had been awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship. He was former member of the board of directors of Bank Midwest and later of First of America Bank, retiring in 1993. A member and past president of the Bloomington-Normal Jaycees, he had earned their Distinguished Man of the Year award.

An avid outdoorsman, duck hunter and bird watcher, he was a member of Pheasants Forever and Ducks Unlimited. He was a member and past president of Oakdale Parent-Teacher Association, a member and former chairman of the YWCA advisory board and served as co-chairman of the YWCA capital campaign in 1988-89. He was a member and former board member of Bloomington Country Club. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member and past commander of the Carl E.

Martin American Legion Post 635 in Normal. He was a former member of the board of directors of United Way of McLean County and a former secretary and precinct committeeman of McLean County Republican Central Committee. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, Illinois State University Foundation, McLean County Chapter of Ducks Unlimited or a charity of the donor's choice. Charles E. Moberly Aug.

Rev. Buck graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1933 and Garrett Biblical Institute, Ev-anston, in 1936. In his ministry career, he served churches in Taylor Ridge beginning in 1928; Cooksville, beginning in 1931; McDowell Center in Pontiac, 1933; Saybrook, 1936; Chenoa, 1938; Griggsville, 1940; Pana, 1944; Aledo, 1951; and Park Methodist Church, Bloomington, 1958. After his retirement from Park Methodist in 1968, his home church was Evangelical United Methodist Church, Bloomington. Rev.

Buck was a member of Bloomington Rotary Club, McLean County Historical Society, Masonic Lodge 43 AF AM, and Bloomington Consistory, receiving the consistory's MSA Award. He also was a member of the American Passion Play for 29 years and did not miss a performance during that time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Baby Fold or Preachers Aid. Floyd R. Calvert Floyd Richard Calvert, 65, of 1718 Florence Pekin, father of Ronald William Calvert, Bloomington, died at 2:30 p.m.

Wednesday (Jan. 12, 1994) at Highland Regional Hospital, Sebring, Fla. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Church of the Nazarene, Pekin, the Rev. James Kraemer officiating.

Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens, Pekin. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Woolsey Funeral Home, Pekin, and a half hour before the service Wednesday at the church. Mr. Calvert was a service engineer at Caterpillar Inc.

Heggie Dona M. Heggie, 66, of 605 Pine St, Normal, died at 2:08 p.m. yesterday (Jan. 17, 1994) at St Joseph Medical Center. Her committal service will be 10 a.m.

Thursday at East Lawn Mausoleum Chapel, the Rev. Mark Serby officiating. Inurnment will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation. Stubblefield Funeral Home, Normal, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born July 19, 1927, at Tyndall, S.D., the daughter of Henry and Rose Ferguson Dahl-hoff. She married Stanley H. Heggie July 3, 1946, in Hot Springs, S.D. He preceded her in death. Shrvivors include one daughter, Cherryl Isted Murphy, 500 E.

Cypress St, Normal; two sons, Dale, 301 Third St, Northmeadow Village, Normal; and Karry, 605 Pine Normal; two sisters, Nina Youngstron, Armour, S.D.; and Norma Dahlhoff, St Paul, 12 grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Heggie was a former cosmetician for Super Drug, retiring in 1974. She then was a playground supervisor for Unit 5 schools.

16, 1994) in Decatur. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Dawson Wikoff Funeral Home, Mount Zion. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m.

Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Rutherford was a farmer in the Mount Zion area for more than 50 years. He raised soybeans for A.E. Staley the first year they were grown for commercial use in 1920.

Memorials may be made to Mount Zion Presbyterian Church Foundation or the American Cancer Society. Evelyn B. Scribner CLINTON The funeral of Evelyn B. Scribner, 90, of Clinton, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Herington-Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, the Rev.

James Bernhardt officiating. Burial will be in Mausoleum Park Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs.

Scribner died at 10:14 a.m. Sunday (Jan. 16, 1994) at St John's Medical Center, Springfield. She was born March 5, 1903, at Beason, a daughter of Thomas and Anna Robinson Scribner. Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

Two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Scribner was a member of Clinton Presbyterian Church and the Lydia Circle of the church. She was a school teacher in DeWitt and Logan counties for 44 years, a lifetime PTA member and a member of Alpha Delta Kappa sorority. Memorials may be made to the church.

Irene Hillard Timper LEXINGTON Irene L. Hillard Timper, 72, of 1507 37th Moline, a Lexington native, died Saturday (Jan. 15, 1994) at her home. Her funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Homewood Evangelical Free Church, Moline.

Her graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lexington. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Esterdahl Mortuary, Moline. Mrs.

Timper was born July 10, 1921, in Lexington, a daughter of James and Lillian Weakley. She married Raymond Hillard April 2, 1939, in St Louis. He died Oct 20, 1972. She married George Timper July 21, 1988, in Davenport, Iowa. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Ronald Hillard and Dennis Hillard, both of Camarillo, one stepson, Edward Timper, Bet-tendorf, Iowa; two stepdaughters, Georgina Peterson, Clinton, Iowa, and Theresa Schofield, Davenport; six grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren. Mrs. Timper had been employed for 20 years at the Rock Island Arsenal, last working in 1980. She was a member of Homewood Evangelical Free Church, Moline. Bloomington-Normal Rev.

Samuel J. Buck The funeral of the Rev. Samuel J. Buck, 91, of 2025 E. Lincoln St, Bloomington, will be at 10:30 a.m.

Thursday at Evangelical United Methodist Church. The Rev. Bradley F. Watkins will officiate. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington. Rev. Buck, a Methodist minister who served many area churches from 1927 to 1968, died at 3:56 p.m. Sunday (Jan.

16, 1994) at Martin Health Care Center, Bloomington. He was born Dec. 26, 1902, in Marshall County, a son of William and Estella Creabil Buck. He married Eudora N. Neiman on Sept 20, 1927, in Seymour, Ind.

Mr. Stevenson died at 6:46 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 16, 1994) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Arthur Stevenson Normal, after a short illness. He was born June 26, 1916, in Hartford City, a son of Arthur' Dorcy and Metta Snider Stevenson.

He married Virginia Belle Bridges i on July 4, 1940, in Tampa, Fla. She survives. Other survivors include two rtamrhter Patripia T.vn AnHersnn. Algonquin, and Gaye E. Weber, Normal; a sister, Doris Hiebel, Fort Myers, and three granddaughters.

Massey, Tampa, Kevin N. Massey, St Petersburg, and Douglas J. Massey, 605 Pine St, Normal; two sisters, Ula Mabrey and Edna Treat, both of Marshall, three brothers, Roy Massey, Landis, John F. Massey, Leslie, and Samuel A. Massey, Marshall, and five grandchildren.

One daughter, two sisters and one brother preceded him in death. Mr. Massey, a 1939 graduate of Marshall (Ark.) High School, had moved to Bloomington in 1953. He operated Massey's Drywall Co. in Bloomington until 1986.

He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. A former member of the First Baptist Church in Marshall, Mr. Massey was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Wade Barney Lodge 512, AF AM. E. Burton Mercier Edward Burton Ceruti I Mercier, 66, of R.R.

16, i Bloomington, chief exec utive officer of Bloomington Offset Press and a trustee with the Bloomington and Normal Sanitary District, died at 11:45 a.m. yesterday (Jan. 17, 1994) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center. A story is on Page A3. His funeral will be at 11 a.m.

Friday at First Christian Church, Bloomington, the Rev. Herb L. Knud-sen officiating. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m.

Thursday Burton Mercier at the church, with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Metzler-Froelich Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born May 30, 1927, in Normal, the son of Charles Alexander and Ruth Ceruti Mercier. He married Mary Lou Gooding April 9, 1949, at Kempton. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Pavid Burton Mercier, EI Paso, and Thomas Gooding Mercier, Carlock; two daughters, Karen L. He died Jan. 16, 1976. Surviving are one son, William, R.R. 1, Hudson; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. One brother preceded her In death.

She was a member of Epiphany Catholic Church and was a former Red Cross volunteer. Memorials may be made to the Elizabeth Koons Memorial Fund in care of Illini Bank, Hudson. Benjamin Rinkenberger FORREST Benjamin Rinkenberger, 95, of Fairview Haven Christian Home, Fairbury, formerly of Forrest, died at 12:18 p.m. yesterday (Jan. 17, 1994) at Fair-view, Haven.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Forrest Apostolic Christian Church, church ministers officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Wednesday at Culkin-Diggle Funeral Home, Forrest, and one hour before the service Thursday at the church. was born Aug.

15, 1898, in Rankin, the son of Abraham and Lydia Zimmerman Rinkenberger. He married Minnie Wenger Oct 29, 1924, in Morris, Minn. She survives. Other survivors include four sons, Donald and Jack, both of Fairbury; Kenneth, Denver, and Robert, Forrest; two Barbara Lund, Schaumburg, andjDarlene Miller, New Castle, 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, four brothers, two sisters and fourlgrandchildren.

Mr. Rinkenberger was a fanner for 50 years before retiring. He Charles E. "Chuck" Moberly, 78, of Daytona Beach, formerly of Normal, longtime restaurant owneroperator in Daytona Beach, died at 11:50 a.m. Saturday (Jan.

15, 1994) at his home. He had been ill. He was cremated. A memorial service will be scheduled. Volusia County Cremation Society, Daytona Beach, has charge of arrangements.

Mr. Moberly was born Sept 14, 1915, in Normal, a son of Edward and Nancy DeVary Moberly. He married Joann Tomassi, who survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Chaflene Tucholski, Milwaukee; one sister, Lucy Sylvester, 1301 S. Linden St, Normal; one brother, James Moberly, Kokomo, and three grandchildren.

Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Mr. Moberly, with his wife, owned and operated the Daytona Beach Country Club restaurant for 30 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Kibler-Smith Memorial Home 1104 N.
