Entombment will be in Park Hill Mausoleum, Bloomington. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Mrs. Noirot was born Jan. 26, 1925, in Peoria, to Francis and Mary Bauwens Bobeck.

She married George J. Noirot Jan. 6, 1945, in Peoria. He died June 11, 1965. The local survivor is a daughter, Carol (Ed) Feit of Chenoa.

Other survivors include two sons, Paul Noirot, Peoria Heights; and Peter (Lori) Noirot, Tucson, four more daughters, Christine (Rick) Stotler, Franklin, Cindy Noirot, Tucson; Connie McDermoJt, Galena; and Catherine (Gregg) Vonada, New Berlin, one brother, Jim (Jenny) Bobeck, Peoria; three sisters, Marilyn Rodell, Frances Patton and Suzie (Dick) Draher, all of Peoria; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was a registered nurse at Zellar Mental Health. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church; Peoria YWCA; and St. Mark's Seniors Club.

Frank Passmore mal, the son of Gordon W. Childers and Brent Ramsauer. He married Nellie Burger on June 22, 1941. She preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Rose Kazmier, Littleton; and Mary Brent Gustafson, Snowmass Village, and one sister, Aileen Fowler, Bloomington.

Also surviving are five grandchildren, Michell Idle, Colorado Springs, Michael Kazmier, Kalispell, and Britta Gustafson, Kalli Gustafson and Sonya Gustafson, all of Snowmass Village; one great-grandson, Colin Kazmier; one niece, Donna Jean Bond, Hudson; and two nephews, James Burton, Aldie, and John Fowler, Alexandria, Va. Gordon worked for the Railroad as a brakeman and conductor. Later, he worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation and the U.S. Department of Transportation as a federal inspector and investigator. Immunizations are available for DTap, HIB, polio, MMR and Hepatitis B. The cost for county residents is $6 per child, while out-of-county residents will be charged $6 per immunization. Imrrfunizations clinics PONTIAC Livingston County Public Health Department has set its immunization clinics for the next month Clinics will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday from now until Aug. 30 at the health department, 310 E. Torrance Pontiac.

Clinics also are scheduled for 1:30 to 5 p.m. July 26, at the Reading Township Hall in Streator; 3 to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 2, at TriCounty Health Services in Fairbury; 2 to 4 p.m. Aug.

14, at Dwight Grade School; and 1:30 to 5 p.m. Aug. 23, Reading Township Hall in Streator. The health department also has lead screening clinics scheduled for 8:30 to 11 a.m. Aug.

Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pontiac. The Rev. Jason Cashmer, his grandson, and the Rev. Clarence Mankin will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, rural Pontiac.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at' Harris-Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Pontiac and for one hour before the service Monday at the church. Mr. Cashmer was born Oct. 14, 1920, in Manville Township, a son of Elmer and Hazel Orson Cashmer.

He married Merna G. Schmidt on Nov. 22, 1941, in Pontiac. She died Oct. 14, 1993.

He later married Doreen Starker on Jan. 21, 1995, in Pontiac. She died Feb. 22, 2000. "Survivors include three sons, Larry (Judy) Cashmer, Dwight; the Rev.

Terry (Carol) Cashmer, Southgate, and Ken (Sue) Cashmer, Dyer, one daughter, Linda (Russ) Greene, Peru; five brothers, John Cashmer, Flanagan; Robert Cashmer, of Wisconsin; Harold Cashmer, Graymont; Carroll Cashmer, Tucson, Jim Cashmer, of Mississippi; two stepsons, Donald (Cheryl) Starker, Newcastle, and Robert (Kim) Starker, Pontiac; one stepdaughter, Ann (Walt) Davenport, Woodstock; 10 stepgrandchildren; and nine stepgreat-grandchildren. Other survivors include 10 grandchildren, Jeff, Aaron, Kyle and the Rev. Jason Cashmer; and Kim Tobeck; Franci Childers; Michele and Matthew Greene; Melissa Bosnich and Marilyn Cis-neros. rHe was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Clifford Cashmer. He was educated in a country school near Manville and received his GED in 1978.

"He farmed for many years in Ep-pards Point Township. From 1969 to 1977, he was employed at the Pontiac Correctional Center and from 1977 to 1985 for the Secretary of State's Driver's License Office in Pontiac. Mr. Cashmer attended Trinity Lutheran Church, Pontiac. He was active in his church and served as an elder, trustee and chairman of the congregation.

He was a member of the AARP, Livingston Co. Farm Bureau and the Lutheran Laymans' League. Catherine W. Cobb 1 Catherine W. Cobb, 76, of 1402 E.

Cox, 52, ef Pontiac died Thursday (July 20, 2000) at University of Chicago Hospital, Chicago. He will be cremated. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday St Duffy Funeral Home, Pontiac, he Rev. Gretchen Stinebaugh officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice. 2 He was born Jan. 4, 1948, at Peo-Jia, the son of Charles W.

and Norma J. Fairfield Cox. He married Sally Chapman on Feb. 14, 1998, at pontiac. She survives.

Other survivors include two ons, Brent Cox and Brandon Cox, both of Flanagan; and one sister, Charlotte Prospt, Titusville, Fla. His parents preceded him in death. Mr. Cox was a member of the Elks Lodge of Pontiac. He was educated in Peoria Schools and the University of Oklahoma.

"Pete" flarmon, 68, of 506 S. Alexander, Atlanta, died at 1:57 p.m. Friday JJuly 21, 2000) in the Dr. John JVarner Hospital emergency room, Clinton, following a boating accident at Clinton Lake. The DeWitt Jtounty Coroner's office is investigating.

Mr. Tallon was born June 25, 1911, at Stanford, a son of John and Stella Peasley Tallon. He married Helen Garvey on March 15, 1936, Roy Tallon at Bloomington. She died Sept. 17, 1938.

He later married Fern L. Downs on March 16, 1940, at Downs. She died Oct. 13, 1999. Survivors include one son, Lyle D.

(Kathie) Tallon, Lexington; one daughter, Ruth M. Hargis, Bloomington; one daughter-in-law, Sharon Tallon, Mackinaw; three sisters, Helen Leischner, Normal; and Jessie Bryan and Bessie Tallon, both of Heyworth; 11 greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Tim (Deb) Tallon, Candi (Gary) Tallon Fitton, Lori (Bob) Campbell, Liz (Mark) Stewart, Karen (Larry) Cope, and David, Mike and Mary Tallon. He was preceded in death by his parents, including two stepmothers; one daughter, Maurine; one son, Robert Eugene; and four brothers, Russell, Fred, Ralph and Elmer. Roy was a lifetime area farmer who was always competitive, whether he was pulling weeds, husking corn, tractor pulling or drag racing.

He won the Dekalb corn-growing contest in 1944 and received third place in the Illinois Hand Shucking Contest in 1938. He was active in tractor pulling from 1959-1986. In 1970 he was point champion in the lightweight class of the Illinois Tractor Pulling Association. Winifred M. Walsh CAMPUS Winifred M.

Walsh, 97, of Campus died at 5:20 p.m. Friday (July 21, 2000) at her residence. Arrangements are pending at Hager Memorial Home, Dwight. Bloomington-Normal Catherine Sanders Adams Catherine Sanders Adams, 82, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Normal, died Wednesday (July 19, 2000) in Oklahoma City. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m.

today at All Souls Episcopal Church Chapel, Oklahoma City. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park, Oklahoma City. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to noon today at Guardian Funeral Directors, Northside Chapel, Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ASPEC at Eckerd College, St.

Petersburg, or All Souls Episcopal Church. Mrs. Adams was born Feb. 16, 1918, in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Henry Arthur and Charlotte Poynor Sanders. She married Henry Adams on Aug.

22, 1943, in Ann Arbor. He survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Robin (Jim) Hartmann, Edmund, and her son, Sandy (Mary Jo) Adams, Carlock. Also surviving are her grandson, Eric Hartmann, Victoria, Texas; and granddaughters, Dr. Diane (Peter) Scheuer, Wilmington, N.C., and Nancy (Travis) Parker, Largo, Fla.

She was educated in Ann Arbor and Poggia Imperiale in Florence, Italy. She received a BA from Bryn Mawr and a MA from the University of Michigan. During the war while her husband was at sea, she worked as a laboratory technician with Dr. Kahn, searching for a test to detect malaria. After the war, she taught French and Latin in Annapolis, where her husband taught at the United States Naval Academy.

From 1968 to 1973, she resided in Normal, where her husband, Henry, was the Chair of the English Department at Illinois State University. She also lived for 17 years in St. Petersburg, before moving to Oklahoma City in 1999. Gordon Childers GoFdon Childers, 77, of Littleton, formerly of Normal, died June 29, 2000, at Littleton. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m.

Tuesday at Funks Grove Church, Funks Grove. Burial will be in Funks Grove Cemetery. He was born Oct. 6, 1922, at Nor www.pantagraph.com i ficiating. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Paxton, with military rites performed.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. He was born March 13, 1920, at LeRoy, a son of Louis and Lenora Strange Hoover. He married Viola Mae Atkins on Sept. 6, 1940, at Hannibal, Mo.

She survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Sherry (Glenn) Poison, rural Paxton; Linda Hoover, Tuscola; and Nancy (Tom) Ashley, Lincoln; one brother, Don Hoover, Heyworth; four sisters, Juanita Carver, Alice Ferguson and Mary (Gerald) Williams, all of Bloomington; and Martha (Claire) Underwood, Richland, five grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. His parents and two half-brothers preceded him in death. George Hunter LINCOLN George Hunter, 76, of Lake Havasu, formerly of Lincoln, died July 12, 2000, at his home. He was cremated.

His ashes were scattered to the "Four Winds" in the mountains at Lake Havasu City. Parker Funeral Home, Lake Havasu City, was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lake Havasu City. Mr. Hunter was born July 7, 1924, in Lincoln, the son of Sam and Ernestine Hunter.

He married Lucille McEwan. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Charles Hunter, Lincoln, and Scott (Sue) Hunter, Elgin; two daughters, Vicky (Gary) Heine, El Central, and Debra (Dan) Beck, Phoenix, one brother, Tom Hunter, Lincoln; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Hunter, Lincoln. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Robert and Christine Heine; and Nathaniel and Emily Beck; nieces Candice Hunter, Lincoln; Kim Prescott, Oceanside, nephews Kevin Hunter and Dan Hunter, both of Lincoln; and Tom Hunter, San Francisco, and a cousin, Eve Mae Dahmm. His parents; one sister, Norma Hunter; and one brother, Ernie Hunter, all of Lincoln, preceded him in death.

He was a veteran of World War II and received the Bronze Star. Donald E. Lanxon MORTON The funeral for Donald E. Lanxon, 64, of 316 N. Nebraska Morton, will be 10 a.m.

Monday at Knapp-John-son Funeral Home, Morton. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens, Peoria. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and 9 to 9:45 a.m. Monday, both times at the funeral home.

Donald Lanxon He died at 2:05 p.m. Thursday (July 20, 2000) at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Memorials may be made to South Side Mission, 1127 S.W. Laramie Peoria, IL 61602. He was born June 15, 1936, at Peoria, a son of Percy C.

and Helen A. Orlopp Lanxon. He married Shirley J. Palmer on Aug. 25, 1957, at Manito.

She survives. Also surviving are one son, Phillip Lanxon, Peoria; one daughter, Linda (Paul) Kerby, Morton; one brother, William (Josephine) Lanxon, Washington; one sister, Betty (Paul) Cady Lisle; and three grandchildren. Noirot, 75, of 915 W. Moss Peoria, mother of a Chenoa resident, died at 3:07 p.m. Friday (July 21, 2000) at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Her memorial Mass will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at St.

Mary's Catholic Church, Peoria, the Rev. Dominic J. Vitaliano officiating. She donated her body for scientific study. Wright Salmon Mortuary, Peoria, is in charge of arrangements.

'JLl MOUNT PULASKI Frank Passmore, 80, of Mount Pulaski died at 1:13 a.m. Friday (July 21, 2000) at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur. His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski, the Rev. Mike Drake officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to United Methodist Church, Mount Pulaski. Mr. Passmore was born June 4, 1920, at Springfield, the son of Frank Dial and Anita Spitler Pass-more.

He married Violet May Reynolds on May 31, 1944, at Cambridge, England. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Victoria Lee Caudill, Decatur; one sister, Mary Helen Rowland, Lincoln; and two grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death. Joanna Pitts McLEAN The funeral for Joanna Cavanee Pitts, 74, of Maple Crest Farm, McLean, will be at 10 a.m.

Monday at St. Matthew's Epis copal Church, Bloomington. Burial will be in McLean Cemetery, McLean. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington.

She died at 3:23 p.m. Thursday (July 20, 2000) at BroMenn Regional Medical Joanna Pitts Center, Normal. Memorials may be made to McLean Cemetery Association. She was born Dec. 26, 1925, in Chicago, the daughter of Dr.

Elbert LaMonte and Byne Goodman Cave-nee. She married Robert D. Pitts on June 26, 1948, in Champaign. He survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Rebecca (Ray) Bruner, McLean; and two sons, Robert D.

(Sharon) Pitts, Armington; and Scott T. Pitts, McLean. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Michelle (Todd) Reaska, Hales Corner, and Natasha Bruner, Tyler Bruner and Austin Bruner, all of McLean. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons. Mrs.

Pitts grew up in Champaign. She was valedictorian of the 1947 graduating class of the University of Illinois. She was the recipient of numerous awards; was the II-lio Beauty Queen; and was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She was past president of Bloomington-Normal Panhellenic. She was the director of McLean County Family Division, retiring after 20 years.

She was past president of CL Chapter of served on the board for Olympia School; a member of BroKaw Service League; past president of McLean PTA; served on the board of directors for the University of Illinois Alumni Board for six years; and on the executive committee for the alumni board for two years. She was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Bloomington. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all. Roy F.

Tallon HEYWORTH Roy F. Tallon, 89, of Heyworth died at 8:12 a.m. Friday (July 21, 2000) at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington. His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m.

He died at 5:26 a.m. Tuesday (July 18, 2000) at Tulane Medical Center, New Orleans, La. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McLean County PONY Baseball, Box 1779, Bloomington, IL 61702. Mr. McClelland was born Feb.

21, 1962, at Carbondale, a son of Vince and Nancy Merten McClelland. He married Michele Brom-mel on April 25, 1987, at Austin, Texas. She survives. Other survivors include his parents of Spring, Texas; two sons, Austin McClelland and Casey McClelland, both at home; one sister, Mandy McClelland, Fairfax, one brother, Greg McClelland, Raleigh, N.C.; paternal grandparents, Hubert and Rosalie McClelland, Odin; and maternal grandmother, Myrtle Merten, Sandoval. His maternal grandfather, Ralph Merten, preceded him in death.

Mr. McClelland was a graduate of the University of Texas. He was district manager for Farmers Insurance Group in Bloomington. He attended Eastview Christian Church. Jeff loved life and lived it to the fullest.

His boys were his pride and joy. His greatest passion in life was spending time with his family and friends.
