Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Calvary United Pentecostal Church, Clinton. The Rev.

Paul F. Froese and the Rev. Jerald Wyatt will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.

Daniels 64, of Thawville died at 1:37 p.m. Thursday (July 27, 2000) at his residence. His funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Knapp Funeral Home, Onarga, the Rev. Gretchen Stinebaugh officiating.

Burial will be in Ridgeland Township Cemetery, Thawville, with military rites by Tracy Smith American Legion Post 700. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to his family or to the Order of Saint Francis Hospice, Pontiac. He was born Jan.

26, 1936, at South Charleston, W.Va., a son of Preston and Dorothy Thomas Daniels. He married Vieda "Dee" Cieslinski on 1 Oct. 27, 1984, at Markham. She survives. Also surviving are three sons, Albert (Sue) Daniels Plainfield; James Daniels, Hanover Park; and Otto (Sherry) Daniels, Thawville; one daughter, Ruth Morris, Piper City; one sister, Ellen (Otto) Ellis, Watseka; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Betty L. Dixon PONTIAC Betty L. Dixon, 62, of 920 W. Madison Pontiac, died at 8:51 p.m.

Wednesday (July 26, 2000) at her residence. Harris-Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Douglas CLINTON Adda Jean Douglas, 73, of Clinton died at 10 a.m. Thursday (July 27, 2000) at her family residence. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m.

Saturday at Woodlawn Clinton. There will be no visitation. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, has charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. John's Hospice or to the Skilled Care Unit of Dr.

John Warner Hospital. She was born June 5, 1927, at Weldon, a daughter of Delmer and Norma Hildreth Davis. She married Raymond Williams on Jan. 10, 1946, at Clinton. He died in 1970.

She later married Mack Williams on Sept. 29, 1973. He died in 1976. She later married Forest L. Douglas on June 3, 1983, at Clinton.

He died in 1987. Survivors include two daughters, Vicki Holton, Houston, Texas; and Sherry Braden, Clinton; two stepsons, Mark Douglas and Dick Douglas, both of Clinton; four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. Mrs. Douglas was a member of Clinton United Methodist Church and the Clinton Elks Auxiliary.

She was a retired employee of General Telephone Co. Peter L. Franzen FLANAGAN The memorial service for Peter L. Franzen, 87, of Flanagan will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St.

John's Lutheran Church, Flanagan. The Rev. George Hunt will officiate. A private family burial will be before the memorial service. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m.

Survivors include two daughJayne L. (Randy) Bressner, Peoria; and Betty Jean (Donald) Wickenburg, two sons, Warren D. (Pam) Franzen, Sparks, and DeWayne P. (Shirley) Franzen, Lancaster, one sister, Augustine Harms, Santa Barbara, 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. His parents, one son, three brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death.

Mr. Franzen was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Brotherhood of St. John's, Flanagan. He received the Rose Award for retired and senior volunteer program of Woodford, Marshall and Livingston counties.

He volunteered with the Peace Meal in Flanagan from July 1992 until June 2000. Mr. Franzen loved bowling and was inducted to the Streator Men's Bowling Association Hall of Fame in May 1993. Until recently he had been treasurer of the Flanagan Bowling League. He previously worked for Dawson Market as a meat cutter for 18 years and as a cook for Jannie's Supper Club for 11 years.

He had been employed for Casey's General Store in Flanagan. Barbara A. Hammer MANSFIELD Barbara A. Hammer, 63, of Mansfield died at 8 a.m. Thursday (July 27, 2000) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Church of the Nazarene, Mansfield, the Rev. Paula D. Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Mansfield, and also for one hour before the service Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. She was born Feb. 28, 1937, in McLean County, a daughter of Lloyd and Juanita Young Marvin.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Hammer and Roy Dale (Norma) Hammer, both of Mansfield; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Steven Hammer; and one brother, Jerry Marvin. Gloria M. Haning MINIER- Gloria M. Haning, 75, of Minier died at 10:10 p.m.

Wednesday (July 26, 2000) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal. Arrangements are pending at McReynolds-Beck Funeral Home, Minier. E. Jeanne Jones EL PASO The funeral for E. Jeanne Jones, 74, of 25 E.

Second El Paso, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Froelich Memorial Home, El Paso. The Rev. Cheri Grizzard will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the memorial home. She died at 7:10 a.m. Wednesday (July 26, 2000) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, El Paso; the El Fire Paso Public Library; the the El Paso Department; or Rescue Squad.

Mrs. Jones was born March 13, 1926, at El Paso, a daughter of Kyle and Mabel McClintock Monahan. She married John Z. Jones on Sept. 28, 1944, at Washington, D.C., He died March 19, 1988.

Survivors include three sons, Lynn (Marcia) Jones, Bloomington; and Roger (Barb) Jones and Mark (Becky) Jones, both of El Paso; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. The grandchildren are Lenette Trantina, El Paso; John Jones, Jacksonville, N.C.; Curtiss Jones, Euclid, Ohio; Casey Jones and Kyle Jones, both of El Paso; Cassandra Jones, Paducah, and Jenny Jones of El Paso. Also surviving are one brother-in-law, Ed (Donna) Jones, Springfield, Ohio; and two sisters-in-law, Frances MaGill, Springfield, Ohio; and Mary Doust, Columbus, Ohio. Her parents, two sisters an and one granddaughter also preceded her in death. Mrs.

Jones was a member of First Baptist Church, El Paso. She was an Avon representative 24 years and drove El for Paso School District 375 for 20 years. Alma K. Liesman LINCOLN Alma K. Liesman, 96, of Lincoln died at 1:05 p.m.

Thursday (July 27, 2000) at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln. Her funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Church, Lincoln, the Rev. Edward Higgins officiating. Burial will be Cross Cemetery, Lincoln.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Kerrigan Funeral Home, Lincoln, with a rosary at 4 p.m. and a wake service at 6:45 p.m. Memorials may be made to Holy Family Church, Lincoln. Mrs.

Liesman was born Jan. 8, 1904, at Lincoln, a daughter of Matt and Mary Awe Minder. She married Raymond Liesman in 1936 in Lincoln. He died March 24, 1999. Survivors include one son, Gene Liesman, St.

Charles; one brother, Orville Minder, Lincoln; three grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and four sisters. William A. Long MORTON The funeral for William A. "Bill" Long, 74, of Morton has been moved to 10 a.m.

Tuesday at KnappJohnson Funeral Home, Morton, the Rev. R.A. Sanders officiating. Visitation now will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, and also from 9 to 9:45 a.m.

Thursday (July 27, 2000) at Hopedale Hospital, Hopedale. Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Davis Mortuary, Hopedale, the Rev. Dean Blackburn officiating. Burial will be in McLean Cemetery, rural McLean.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary. Alice Memorials Lucas may be made to Delavan United Methodist Church. She was born March 9, 1906, at McLean, a daughter of Thomas and Susan Sweeney Noble. She married Elmer L.

Lucas on Feb. 23, 1923, at McLean. He died 23, 1973. Survivors include one daughter, Charlotte Goeken, Bloomfield, Iowa; one sister, Agnes Bustle, Mason City, Iowa; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great grandsons. She was preceded in death by two sons, two brothers and two sis- Susan N.

Novotney STREATOR Susan N. Novotney, 50, of 9 Imperial Drive, Streator, died at 7:40 a.m. Thursday (July 27, 2000) at St. Mary's Hospital, Streator. Her funeral will be 11 a.m.

Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Streator, the Rev. Kerwin Sletto officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Streator. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m.

13, 1949, in Chicago, a daughter of Tom A. and Margaret Laurent Delporte. She married Terry Novotney on July 26, 1969. He survives. Also surviving are one son, Brian (Sarah) Novotney, Streator; a daughter, Lisa (Paul) Donahue, Minooka; her mother of Streator; and one brother, Tom (Hershey) Delporte, Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her father. Harold E. Paulsen ATLANTA Harold E. "Coddy" Paulsen, 82, of Atlanta died at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday (July 26, 2000) at OSF St.

Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Atlanta, the Rev. Edward Higgins officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Quiram Funeral Home, Atlanta, with a rosary at 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.

Mr. Paulsen was born Feb. 24, 1918, at Heyworth, the son of Gus and Theresa Zoeller Paulsen. Survivors include one sister, Marilyn (George) Passolt, Wheeling. Also surviving are six nephews, Bill (Joan) Passolt, Tom (Terri) Passolt, Jim (Pam) Passolt, Jeff (Jeanne) Passolt, Fred (Betty Jo) Paulsen and Mark (Linda) Paulsen; one niece, Rebecca (Mike) Crowley; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

His parents, one sister and three brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Paulsen farmed in the McLean-Atlanta area his entire adult life. He served in the U.S. Army in the 112th Cavalry during World War II.

He was a member of St. Mary's Church and the 112th Cavalry Association. Mary Pogeman CLINTON Mary Ruth Pogeman, 63, of Clinton died at 11:22 p.m. Wednesday (July 26, 2000) at her residence. Arrangements are pending at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton.

Doris M. Shine LeROY Doris M. Shine, 86, of LeRoy died at 10:23 p.m. Wednesday (July 26, 2000) at LeRoy Manor. A graveside service will be at a later date at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lexington.

Phyllis Bruce officiating. There will be no visitation. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, LeRoy, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to American Alzheimer's Association. She was born May 23, 1914, at LeRoy, a daughter of Isaac and Carrie Kimler Green.

She married Earl Shine in May 1930 at Bloomington. He died April 11, 1979. Survivors include one stepson, Harold Shine, Farmer City; one stepdaughter, Aileen Jackson, Peoria; one sister, Frances I. Peyton, LeRoy; six stepgrandchildren; and numerous stepgreatdren. She also was preceded in death by her parents, one son, three brothers and six sisters.

David F. Walle PAXTON -David F. Walle, 56, of Morris, formerly of Paxton, died Wednesday (July 26, 2000) at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center, Joliet. His funeral will be at 10 a.m.

Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Seneca, the Rev. Tom Doyle officiating. His interment and graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Chandlerville Cemetery, Chandlerville.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, Joliet. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the trust established at First Midwest Bank for his children's education. Mr. Walle was born July 6, 1944, in Paxton, the son of Francis and Ardell Zimmerman Walle.

He married Karen Arthalony. She survives. Other survivors include his parents in Melvin: one daughter, Kirsten (Scott) Barla, Seneca; three sons, Brad Nicholas L. and Keith "Kip" Walle, all of Morris; two sisters, Carol (Gordon) Dremann, Princeton; and Mary (Stephen) Peterson, Downs; and three brothers, Stephen Walle, Bloomington; Dean Walle, Tucson, and Richard Walle of Wyoming. Also surviving are his motherin-law, Mae Arthalony; three grandsons, Jacob and Adam Barla and Kyler Walle; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. August Zimmerman and Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Walle, preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death was his father-in-law and good friend, Leo E. Arthalony; and one nephew, Eric Peterson. Mr. Walle received a B.S. degree in business, education and education from Illinois State University in 1967, an M.A.

in educational administration from Sangamon State University in 1976 and an Ed.S. in educational administration from Eastern Illinois University in 1985. David loved his career, serving as superintendent of Nettle Creek Grade School since 1986. Before Obituaries now online at www.pantagraph.com that he was principal of CowdenHerrick High School in Cowden and South Fork High School in Kincaid. He began his teaching career at Chandlerville Unit District in Chandlerville.

During his 13 years at Chandlerville, he served as teacher, coach and principal. During his 34 years in education, David enriched many lives. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Seneca; Executive Board Grundy County Special Education District; and the Chandlerville Town Board. Bloomington-Normal Dorothy M.

Barry Dorothy Dorothy M. Barry, 79, of 1513 N. Fell Bloomington, died at 2 a.m. Thursday (July 27, 2000) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal. Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m.

Saturday at St. Patrick's Church, Amboy. Burial will be in Prairie Repose Cemetery, Amboy. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

today at MihmJones Funeral Home, Amboy. Dorothy Memorials Barry may be made to McLean County Humane Society. Mrs. Barry was born Oct. 14, 1920, at Chicago, a daughter of John and Martha McClennen Clasby.

She married Maurice J. Barry on Thanksgiving Day in 1939 at Chicago. He survives. Other survivors include four daughters, Donna Barry, Fort Lauderdale, Dorothy (Anthony) Schrementi, Homewood; Denise (Ed) Ernst, Buda; and Dawn (Wayne) Henderson, Amboy; and one son, Maurice J. Barry Bloomington.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Gina Castronovo, Lighthouse Point, Diane Zalopi, Rochester Hills, Matthew Zalopi, Orlando, Christopher Zalopi, West Palm Beach, Phillip Ernst and Katie Ernst, both of Buda; and Kelly Henderson, Amboy; and three great-grandchildren, Nicholas Alexander Castronovo and Anthony Castronovo, both of Lighthouse Point; and Noah Zalopi, Rochester Hills. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand- James C. Clark James Clark The funeral of James C. Clark, 82, of 4 Fisher Drive, Bloomington, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Evangelical Methodist Church, Bloomington.

The Rev. Rob Roy will officiate. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, with a Masonic service at 7 p.m.

He died at 3:42 James a.m. Wednesday Clark (July 26, 2000) at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Mo. Memorials may be made to YMCA or Shriner's Hospital, 2001 S. Lindbergh St.

Louis, Mo. 63131. Mr. Clark was born Jan. 3, 1918, in Chicago, the son of James M.

and Myrtle Potts Clark. He married Paseka on July 1, 1941, at Bloomington. She preceded him in death. He married Olive McMahon on Nov. 14, 1976, at Bloomington.

She survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Carolyn. "Sue" (Woodrow) Jones, Lincoln; Rita Clark and Nancy C. (Joe) Wilson, both of Corpus Christi, Texas; and Pamela Clark, Stanford; two stepsons, Steve (Kaye) McMahon, Henderson, and Jim (Sue) McMahon, Corvallis, one sister, Margorie Boitnott, Normal; two brothers, William (Katie) Clark, Dahinda; and Warren (Grace) Clark, Geneseo; four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. One son, James M.

Clark; and two brothers, Frank and Charles Clark, also preceded him in death. Mr. Clark was a retired locomotive engineer, having worked for Illinois Central Gulf Railroad and Amtrak for more than 45 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of Evangelical Methodist Church, Bloomington, and was active in the YMCA; Bloomington Masonic Lodge 43; and the Tin Lizzy Patrol. He also was a member of the McLean.

County Shrine Club, United Transportation Union, Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge. John L. Dahman John L. Dahman, 67, of Decatur, father and brother of area residents, died at 12:25 a.m. Thursday (July 27, 2000) at St.

John's North, Springfield. His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Brintlinger's Home, Decatur. Burial will be in Hewitt Cemetery, Lovington, with military rites by the Macon County Honor Guard. Visitation will be for two hours before the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Decatur; or St. John's Hospice, Springfield. Among area survivors are a daughter, Marcia A. (Greg) Todd, Bloomington; and two brothers, Dr.

Robert (Rosetta) Dahman, Lincoln; and Richard (Pat) Dahman, Maroa. Mr. Dahman was born Feb. 20, 1933, a son of Otto and Vivian Timmons Dahman. He married Shirley J.

Mathias on Feb. 13, 1955, at Lovington. She survives. Other survivors include another daughter, Cheryl J. (Steven) Bingamon, Decatur; one son, Kenny N.

(Suzanne) Dahman, Decatur; seven grandchildren, John, Joe and Ashley Dahman, and Sarah, Scott, Katy and Nicholas Todd; and a stepgranddaughter, Mindy Bingamon. His parents, one sister and one brother preceded him in death. Mr. Dahman was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and had served in the U.S.

Army. He retired in January 1991 from Wagner's Casting where he had worked for 28 years. Mr. Dahman was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Robert 'Bob' Lee Robert "Bob" Lee, 74, of Rapid City, S.D., formerly of Bloomington and Chenoa, died July 11, 2000, at Clarkson Mountain View Resthome, Rapid City.

He was cremated. Burial of ashes was in Black Hills National Cemetery, rural Sturgis, S.D. Behrens Mortuary, Rapid City, had charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Parkinson's Foundation. Mr.

Lee was born March 1, 1926, at Chenoa, a son of Glenn and Aldine Schopp Lee. He married Zola McCall. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Karen (Vic) Rudeck; two sons, Larry (Nancy) Lee and Timothy Lee; one daughter-in-law, Barbara; four brothers, Gordon Lee, Glenn Lee, Keith Lee and Kenneth Lee; two sisters, Mary Anders and Pat Todd; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. His parents, two sisters and his oldest son, Michael, preceded him in death.

Alice Charges filed in drug arrest By Pantagraph staff Curtis Lewis, 19, of the 500 block of South McLean Street, Bloomington, was charged with two counts of of 15 to 100 grams of cocaine and resisting a peace officer. He was arrested Tuesday in the 400 block of East Washington Street after running from a motel parking lot to the business next door, where eight police officers were investigating a report of a burglary. Officers found $272 and a bag containing 22 grams of crack cocaine, no value listed. Lewis was also charged with having no driver's license, no car insurance and changing lanes without a turn signal. Due to a parole hold, Lewis was not able to post bond and remained in McLean County Jail.
