Acu-na, daughter of Frank and Carole Acuna of Clinton, and James R. Moyer, son of Louis Moyer of Decatur and Nancy McVey of Muncie, were married Dec. 12, 1997, at Macon County Courthouse, Decatur. The bride, a graduate of Clinton High School and Richland Community College, is employed as a sales associate by Sears.

Her husband graduated from Mount Zion High School and served seven years in the U.S. Navy. He is employed as an instrumentation technician by ADM, Decatur. The newlyweds reside in Macon. Thiel-Ziegler PONTIAC Heather Thiel and Shannon Ziegler, both of Pontiac, were united in marriage in a ceremony at 3 p.m.

Oct. 4, 1997, at Pontiac United Methodist Church. Deanna Pflager of rural Pontiac, and the late Jim Thiel, and Rose Ziegler of Graymont are their parents. There was a reception at Pontiac American Legion Hall. Sarah Peterson and Corey Holzhauer attended the bride with Shelby Pflager as flower girl.

John and Jerry Ziegler attended the bridegroom, and Martin Hart-zold, Courtney Moravek and Jeremy Ziegler were ushers. The bride is employed by State Farm Insurance Cos. and her husband is employed by SMF in Mi-nonk. They reside at 106 Redwood Manor Park, Pontiac. Bogdan-Harris Sheryl J.

Bogdan and Matthew T. Harris, both of 2406 Rainbow Drive, Apt. 2D, Bloomington, were married at 1 p.m. Dec. 1, 1997, at First Assembly of God, Normal.

Their parents are Debbie Bog-dan and Dave Bogdan, both of Aurora, and Linda Nagel of Lees Summit, Mo. There was a reception at Washington Square East before the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Jamaica. Debbie Bogdan, Natalie Marshall, Karen Hogan, Nancy Damkoehler and Paige Franks attended the bride and Macey Bogdan and Holly Harris were flower girls. Ed Tolliver, Troy Martin, Dan McHugh, Jason Damkoehler and Luke Franks attended the bridegroom, and Mike, Steve, Paul and John Harris were ushers. The bride majored in elementary education at the College of DuPage and Illinois Sate University.

She is employed as a secretary. Her husband majoried in Biblical studies at Central Bible College and is an associate pastor at First Assembly of God. Wilkey-Martin EL PASO Wendy Wilkey of El Paso and Larry G. Martin of Towanda, were married at 1 p.m. Jan.

3, 1998, at the bride's home at 4 N. Pine El Paso. A reception followed. Oren and Gail Hudson of El Paso, and Lester and Ruth Martin of rural El Paso, are their parents. Amanda Leigh Wilkey, daughter of the bride; Jessica and Kayla Martin, daughters of the bridegroom, were the bride's attendants.

Jamie, Kyle and Kevin Martin, sons of the bridegroom, were his attendants. The bride, who has an associate degree from Lincoln College, is employed in the systems department by State Farm Insurance Cos. Her husband, a licensed electrician, is employed by The Eureka and is president and CEO of Heartland Electric, Towanda. Following a Caribbean cruise, the newlyweds reside at the bride's address. Dec. 27, 1997, it Epiphany Catholic Church, Bloomington, were Sharon Michelle Kraft of 106 Riss Drive, Normal, and Thomas Charles Ocheltree Jr. of Alton. Their parents are Michael and Sharon Kraft of the Riss Drive address, and Dr. Thomas and Susan Ocheltree of Bloomington.

There was a reception at -the Radisson Hotel before the newly-weds left for a honeymoon cruise. They reside in Alton. 20, 1997, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Bloomington. A reception followed at their home at 110 Robert Drive, Normal, before the newlyweds left for a honeymoon in Florida. Christine Williams, daughtertof the bride, and Bret Williams, son of the bride, were their attendants. The bride, a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, is a teacher at Northpoint Elementary School.

Her husband, an engineering graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, is a manufacturers representative for Kennametal Corp. 1 1 applied computer science and mathematics from Southeast Missouri State University. Both are employed as systems analysts by State Farm Insurance Cos. The newlyweds reside at 12 Joslin Court, Bloomington. Knuth-Prescher Krista K.

Knuth and Randy E. Prescher, both of 810 E. Front Bloomington, were married at 11 a.m. Oct. 20, 1997, at Super Club Breezes, Nassau, the Bahamas.

Al and Mary Lou Hedstrom of rural Hudson, and George and Jean Prescher of 112 Hershey Road, Bloomington, are their par- ents. There was a reception Oct. 25 at the home of the newlyweds. The bride is employed as a registered nurse in cardiology services and her husband is employed as a radiology technologist, both by OSF St. Joseph's Medical Center.

Murphy-Murphy PONTIAC Shannon Irene Murphy and Michael Francis Murphy, both of Pontiac, exchanged wedding vows in a ceremony at 3 p.m. Nov. 15, 1997, at St. Mary's Church, Pontiac. Parents of the couple are Betty Murphy of Pontiac, and the late Vincent D.

Murphy; Pat Koehler of Pontiac; and the late James Murphy, and the late Walter Kohler. There was a reception dinner at the Pontiac Elks Country Club. H.I. Newell of 1551 W. Adams Springfield, formerly of Bloomington, will observe his 100th birthday Tuesday. A card shower is planned in his honor. Newell was born Jan.

13, 1898, in Rushville. He married Evelyn Davis on Nov. 26, 1970. He is the father of Dorothy Dow of San Diego, Calif. There are 14 grandchildren and 24 greatgrandchildren.

A son and a daughter are deceased. Rev. H.I. Newell Newell is a retired minister, serving churches in Freeport and Bradley before coming to Bloomington in 1949 where he served Grace United Methodist Church (formerly Grace Evangelical United Brethren Church) from 1949 to 1966. He enjoys baseball on TV, Bible study and listening to Christian radio and television.
