Expo" at Bloomington's U.S. Cellular Coliseum has been canceled due to its star attraction bowing out. Giuliana Rancic, an channel news anchor and star of The Style Network's "Giuliana Bill" reality series, has withdrawn from her previously announced Sept. 17 appearance.

According to organizer Patti Parker, "Unfortunately, the expo cannot replace someone of her celebrity caliber with such short notice." Rancic reportedly canceled in order to attend the Emmy Awards that weekend, Parker said. Because the large attendance from her appearance can no longer be assured, Parker said the decision was made to cancel the expo and return all application money to the 70 vendors booked for the event, which is targeted to female consumers.
